Matty B\'s is the home of the Cooler Crew. We\'ve got a party going on every evening from 8 until the clue is released. Sunday night, if the hunt goes that long, the bar will be open but food will not be available.
Recent Clues:
Clue #1 Congrats to the finder, to all a reminder
To hunt hard from first to last clues
Medallion I is history. Now a new mystery
Begins -- strap on your hunting shoes
To some its demented, for all unprecedented
But hunters’ thirst must be quenched
Tell sister and brother we’ve hidden another
In a park where a body can be benched
Our 2nd prize? Don’t laugh -- 10-thou cut in half
So get out there even if it’s snowy
And as a special bonus -- some might say an onus --
A meal with our own Clueless Joey
Good hunting to you, let this be the first clue
Think of a woodsy retreat
It won’t be so hard if you channel the bard
You’ll get warm and smell pretty sweet

But if hunting online counts, I'm all over that! :goofy:
No one's ever in the parks when I go out in the field. :frown: I was looking for a big, black Caddie today.
you get the idea.
damn. tc and i just did *not* get that movie. perhaps the father/father-in-law factor had something to do with it when we saw it
man this is an old page:
http://coolercrew.com/medallion/2000s/2005/ComoDay3.html
you no like-a his favorite son huey lewis?
watched it twice - imagine how hard it was for him to do all this in one take as it was pretty much for real - no set ups or practice.
love the part when he walks into the swanky hotel acting like a gangsta
Thanks ares!
That was a wonderful day!
Grab you handy locating device but not your cell phone, hit the trail in the park and try to look at something with only the whites of your eyes to discover the prize. Then postiton yourself between some orbs and a menagerie of fun wild or tame. When you get there then pray to Jesus because you are not supposed to call him on the cell phone and ask for bread and fish. I bet the medallion will just rain down from the sky encased in ice and I'm sure it will smell very pretty.
Peaces
If it was mine you couldn't take your eyes off of it
white-upturned: with eyes rolled, as in the whites of the eyes turned upward. (Romeo and Juliet) i.e. looking upward
Romeo-
She speaks:
O, speak again, bright angel! for thou art
As glorious to this night, being o'er my head
As is a winged messenger of heaven
Unto the white-upturned wondering eyes
Of mortals that fall back to gaze on him
When he bestrides the lazy-pacing clouds
And sails upon the bosom of the air.
A restroom? A convenience store near a park? A parking lot?
"The whites of our eyes are several times larger than those of other primates, which makes it much easier to see where the eyes, as opposed to the head, are pointed."
alban = white

Siren (see pic)
Siren's song: BC
Within this convenient plot
PLOT= secret scheme to do something (especially something underhand or illegal)
WHITES OF YOUR EYES = FEAR...
I'M TAKING IT AS TOOO CONVENIENT 2 BE CENTRAL...ITS AN "SCHEME"...WE SHOULD KNOW BETTER.
I was at the park for two hours. When I drove in I noticed a car parked on the road and a fellow sitting in it reading something. I looked kind of closely because it kind of looked like someone I know. I even went past the car a couple of times to see if he would look up from whatever he was reading and I could get a better look at his face. But he always had his face in the papers he was looking at.
So when I'm leaving the park two hours later, he's still there! Still sitting there. I'm thinking someone gets a really long lunch! I turned around once again and drove by REALLY slow, thinking if he sensed a car going by really slow he'd look up. Nope! I was pretty much stopped 15 or so feet from his car and he never looked up.
Now at the time I was just scoping him out to see if it was my friend who I haven't seen for a while. But now after reading the posts at PP, it kind of makes me go hmmmmmmmm.
But two hours is a long time.
