Matty B\'s is the home of the Cooler Crew. We\'ve got a party going on every evening from 8 until the clue is released. Sunday night, if the hunt goes that long, the bar will be open but food will not be available.
Recent Clues:
Clue #1 Congrats to the finder, to all a reminder
To hunt hard from first to last clues
Medallion I is history. Now a new mystery
Begins -- strap on your hunting shoes
To some its demented, for all unprecedented
But hunters’ thirst must be quenched
Tell sister and brother we’ve hidden another
In a park where a body can be benched
Our 2nd prize? Don’t laugh -- 10-thou cut in half
So get out there even if it’s snowy
And as a special bonus -- some might say an onus --
A meal with our own Clueless Joey
Good hunting to you, let this be the first clue
Think of a woodsy retreat
It won’t be so hard if you channel the bard
You’ll get warm and smell pretty sweet

NOW I KNOW WHY I KNEW THE NAME....
Heh, then again, don't tell them, maybe they don't know about it. :goofy:
Off to pickup my new car. I'll post a picture later I suppose.
I am so excited about this
I keep hearing the stories and it happens to me personally so much that I think a log or story should be written, along with who saw who in the parks and fun stuff like the 2 time golden ticket finder and the north St Paul finder -running into both in Como and then again next to me at Central! I've had a great time digging hard and talking with so many people during this hunt - one of those times that I enjoy life.
With regards to the first hunt, I have always acknowledged that Jake was the one to dig up the puck and find it and he acknowledged that I pointed him in the right direction. Im glad for Jake and I dont want anybody to think other wise and I have never tried to discredit him. Becuase I didnt dig up the puck I thought I did the honorable thing and turned down the money and the chance for more press.
I hope everyone has a great year and I will surely talk to everyone in the 2008 Hunt.

Water Cooler
Kat has 5 or 6 advance tickets ($15) for the Vulcan Victory Dance Saturday night that are for sale.
She bought 10 so that we could meet the requirement to reserve a table (reserved under "Cooler Crew") and 4 or 5 of them are spoken for. I assume Kat will check this thread but you can always call me, too, and I can get the word to her...
I'm really happy I chose to be at the press, I did the Como mad dash, the Phalen mosh pit, just not for me....I love the hunt but the final clue in the park ruins the hunt for me....being able to help out and get the clue clearly to a large group of people I feel "part" of the hunt without having to worry about getting hit in the head with a shovel.
This was a wonderful year for the crew!
I haven't read anything over there since I got home last night so don't know if she's posted over there today.
I just realized as I was going through my usual hunt routine this evening...dinner, dishes..picking up...noodling clues all the time...I don't have to stay up tonight for the clue!
I'm heading for the sheets.
Goodnight, SCDs and MCL!
Welcome to The Cooler! Ewe bee official now!
Remember, "You can checkout any time you like, but you can never leave."
Night Green
Hiya suitcase - I'm going through a little withdrawal but not too bad this year as I feel I got my fill for a change.
Nite, My Master.
Allison, what are your feelings? I don't want to do it until I hear from you. Ittiz 'your' Lodge... And one never knows who will come and we *could* get some poop-disturbers...
I'm kind'a uneasy about posting it there at all. There's actually some protection in the park regarding liability, destruction, etc.
...THE CAR LOOKS GREAT!!!!
HEH
Knowing there is a dance tomorrow, Cooler Crew members are definately welcome tonight, if ya all can agree on a brand, I might even have to buy a pitcher or two if a few show up. (Rosemount American Legion. Address at: http://www.divertunes.com/shows.html ) (No, you don't have to sing.)
My son and his friends used to go to Karaoke quite a bit and sometimes invite the parents along. The place they went to in Apple Valley has either stopped doing Karaoke or changed hosts, and they no longer go. Next time I'm in town I'll have to talk them into trying your show! They all live in Eagan and Rosemount, so it should be pretty close for everyone.
Not that it matters a lot, but in the explanation of clues for this second hunt they changed the wording in clue one a little. It says "You'll get warm and smell AS sweet", where originally it was published as, "You'll get warm and smell PRETTY sweet".
