Clue 1:
This year's busy place will be a change of pace
And it was quite a challenge to hide the puck.
Put down that book, get on out and look
Just ask the other outdoor lovers if you get stuck.
Clue 2:
Spreading forth, a creature from the north
Now a regular in and around these parts.
You'll take the cake if you can stay awake
Now go to task and exhibit your smarts.
In your perambulation take this invitation
To pick up any trash you see.
Let's keep our parks tidy, but first look inside-y
And you could be shouting with glee.

Pardon the cliche, but as one does say
Some big fish might be swimming here.
Don't get yourself wet, 'cause it's a safe bet
That the medal is dry but somewhere near.

probably going to head out there in a bit
Well, i tried all of these (except for that promenade crap) and walked away empty handed. Picked up quite a bit of litter, but nothing of value. Maybe later today?
go for a spin
jump on your schwinn
pedal on over to the wild, wild west
watch children play or throw trash away
choose which of these that you like the best
then we hit Memorial Beach/West Park....
I'm sticking with what I said 2-3 clues ago... thats where it is...
It's a small park though.... we covered it pretty good within like 45 mins....
dunno...
thinking about heading back out there in a bit.
That's the one year I've looked for that one. I was all over the right area, only to have two old ladies get it the next day. They covered the thing in a clay/mud/grass mixture, then rolled it in some dirt, and stuck it in some heavy brush. I think it was a bit of overkill for the spot, but oh well.
Found a baseball, laying in a buncha trees/bushes.... not the medallion, but its pretty cool, seeing that its probably only been used once, by the looks of it.
I'm heading back out to WBL....
I think it was a bit of overkill for the spot, but oh well.
wouldn't know-I'm at work with a sweatshirt on!
good luck! I did find a penny in the Railroad park the other day
