I sent the link along to my granddaughter and got an email back already. She's morphing all of her friends and having a ball. Of course, she's only 13, so how bad can it get?
You think you got it bad? I just had one of those 'holy crap' moments...
I tried to google my name on the internet and see of I could get a photo of myself from someplace quick...
Apparently I'm a murder suspect in Glendale, AZ! I guess putting my face on the net for facial recognition may not be such a good idea - at least until the 'heat' dies down...
Interesting to see how different photos of the same person yield different results.
I scanned one of Santa Dave with Jay Leno and it did give Jay Leno as a 52% match, but that was not their strongest match.
Santa Dave came up as matching Alexander Graham Bell, among others. I thought maybe he'd come up as one of the actors who played Santa in Miracle on 34th Street.
My photos matched Glenn Close (been told that before) and also Jack Lemmon (my dad looked a lot like Jack Lemmon). Can't remember who else, but I was mostly pleasantly surprised.
I don't think I'd care for that...you might as well sit home in your living room. I do love the drive-in, though, and I try to make it out to Manning/94 every summer or two...
I've got a semi-retired friend who's looking at a new RV -
The master bedroom has a 32" plasma TV that folds into the ceiling. When you fold it down, you can pivot it around and face it directly out the rear window. So you can sit at the campfire AND watch the game at the same time!
I just have to add - I've been reading medical journal articles for my latest work project. They keep mentioning "older" and "elderly" populations in the article titles, then when they describe the study population, they say, "ages 55 and older".
Ugh. Since when? I thought they've been trying to sell us on how young we are and how long we can live??? And that old doesn't happen anymore until long after 55.
Forget to send that e-mail a few days ago telling the wife you were going skeet shooting with the boys? Did the boss never receive that e-mail explaining that you'd be out for a few days getting your post-college Spring Break on with the ladies down in Daytona? Have no fear, Google Custom Time* is here! Send e-mails back in time (marked as "read" or "unread") and cover your butt.
When I clicked on that link it took me directly to a map of our lake. Is that because I've been to the site before? Seemed strange when the address was pretty generic and not specific at all. Anyway, it's a cool site. I don't even remember using it before.
The eagle pair has had some setbacks this season, but mated again soon after their last eggs failed. There is even video on one of the links on that site. You'd think, being part eagle, I'd know all about that, but I didn't.
This was the largest building ever moved back in 1999. It was moved from the corner of 1st Ave and 7th st to Hennepin and 5th st over a block and a half away. http://www.youtube.com:80/watch?v=nzefIIGO918
We were just talking about this yesterday when I was in mpls for a trade show.
I am so glad they didn't tear it down I hate any old building being brought to the ground like that!! I felt so bad when the took down the Met. and the civic center!! I loved them places!!
I was there that day watching it from the MOA parking ramp. We all laughed our asses off once the dust settled. One side did go down after about 5 minutes though. Seeing the roof fall was kinda cool. The echo of the explosion was pretty wicked as well.
And I used a fake picture. :pbpt:

I wish I had the time to goof off with this site.

Time to submit it to mythbusters I think.

Yahoo Inc. launched a site for women between ages 25 and 54, calling it a key demographic underserved by current Yahoo properties.
Nice to see someone - anyone - lumping an old broad like me in with the twenty-somethings, though.
The writing aspect of Yahoo Shine appeals to me though - I'll check it out. Thanks for the link!

Besides if men needed a search engine (which we'd never admit), it would have a small vocabulary: Celebrity, Nude, Sex, Topless, etc...

We were just talking about this yesterday when I was in mpls for a trade show.
The day they tried to implode it with dynamite - it refused to fall down, so they had to dismantle the building piece by piece with Backhoes.
