I asked Drummer and Jen, who are visiting, to see if they could identify the music with that video. Then I left to go to the grocery store, and they listened while I was away. When I came home they told me it was O Fortuna - they performed it in a concert just a few months ago at UND - he played tympani and she sang with the chorus.
But KC got the answer posted by that time - congrats KC.
I just thought it was quite a coincidence. Although Drummer is a music major and might have recognized it anyway, really weird that they just performed this piece!
The real "Thankee" should probably be Google. How many billions of bits of information does Google dole out daily? If someone wanted to rule the world, you gotta start by taking over Google.
"Gee, Brain, what are we going to do tonight?"
"Something very different, Pinky. Tonight, we're going to hack Google!"
or when the two guys were all in with the same two cards vs each other (AK or AQ I think) the one guy was suited and the other not. the unsuited guy said he was a favorite because he had 2 flush draws vs the one. of course he was kidding, it was one of the better pros.
I was kinda surprised to learn that Valleyfair closes the water park a week before Labor Day Weekend - even though Labor Day is Sept 1st! You'd think they could bribe a couple high school kids to stick around and Lifeguard that weekend before school starts.
Please don't ask what movie, or where I came up with that answer. I truly don't know.
here's a hint: the musical setting of the piece dates back to the mid '30s. the words themselves go back some 800 years.
thats the question? about the music
heh
I thought it was something out of The Omen
very satanic/gothic feel
Hunchback or Dracula - That evil Rasputin kinda feel

dudley doright...I wonder if related to John Wilkes Booth?
chicago fire- good one

"these guys keep sucking out, I pretty much had him dominated pre flop"
"or we have the backdoor two pair possible" said with two undercards to the flop
"if you have ace queen, the odds are someone has ace king. it's just a matter or knowing how these online sites work."
good tutorial

I've got 2 unsuited cards...I can now make a flush in 2 different suits...so I'll raise.
After you get sick of gambling you can evolve it into Contract Bridge, then Gin Rummy, and when you start getting senile; Go Fish!

that is a bummer the posts for the poker thread are gone - that was good reference
