2012 Clues
So its back to the drawing board for next year
to find a spot so deep and drear.
Harder to reach all you whiners
than those buried Chilean miners.
Next year's clues will inspire dread
requiring knowledge of languages dead,
Higher math rocket science
disbanding every hunters alliance.
I take your leave. I bid adieu.
I go in search of the perfect clue.
Prepare to hike hard dig deep and delve.
Will have a grand party in 2012.

to their delicacy of riches can yield
or then around the watery field
Prior to the arrival of Europeans this area was home
to the Dakota. They followed trails through here to reach
more northern hunting grounds and wild rice harvesting
lakes.
In 1848, Charles Perry took possession of a 160-acre
claim on land that would later become Como Park. For a
year, he raised cattle and grew potatoes by the lake he
called Lake Como, after the famous lake near his
birthplace in the Swiss-Italian Alps. However because
his neighbors were “becoming too thick and interfered
with his cattle-raising,” he moved further north to Lake
Johanna in 1849, where he became the first settler of
what is now Arden Hills.
