Yes, the medallion has been found, but there's still lots to talk about. Feel the need for more than virtual discussion? Then join the Re-Hash Bash, Sunday, Jan. 27, at noon at Merriam Park in St. Paul.
Though I like the idea of the medallion in a small box of Tide-there's another possibility.
Inside the box of Tide-the 'medallion'has been replaced by a paperback copy of A TIME TO KILL.Usually a picture of the medallion is shown in the paper.I didn't see it this year.
Thanks, leelabell...something tells me that will be important info to keep in mind as we get more clues.
Anybuddy know the author of "knit your brows"...I think Shakespeare said something about "knitting up the raveled sleeve of care" but I'm not sure where the "knit your brows" saying came from.
the medallion has been in battle creek only 3 times. the first time was in the 50's the clues said st.paul. the next 2 times were in 1970 & 1995 & the clues said ramsey co
Hello all...so I see, it seems to be at Highland Park...I was wondering if you all mean the Highland Park across from the Jr. and Sr. High schools or the one in Bloomington somewhere?

Just got back from scoping out BC and Highland. I can see where both have a lot of hills to climb up and down. But I didn't see a clear place where you stay "down the hill, far from the woods" except maybe at BC by the water slide.
ahhh-well I know Jake sleeps because he was here-but it makes you wonder where that boy gets all that energy! hahahaha
He is not answering his cell!! I am gonna kill him! He has been steering me the wrong way for the past 24 hours making me doubt myself and I am gonna kill him!
whats your name 69
carl....I am just stating what THG said earlier on the DT and HI parks
Pride is defined the same way in my old Webster's Dict.
Hey all- The time and tide quote is by Alexander Pope, not Longfellow
Barb W. Class of '69; lived on North side of SSP above Concord St.

The finder gets to keep the paperback too.
anyone have any ideas on "far and wide"????
LL BELL - instant message me
Hey gang. Just got caught up on the last couple hundred posts........ jeepers! All I have to say is these clues are terrible! :)
Town Square Park is closed couple years ago!
SSP and Snake- Do you know Paul LaBrosse or Mary Benjamin (LaBrosse)? My parents 69 and 70
Pride could also be Lion's family; woods could also be street names: ie: elm, ash, etc.
thanx leelabell
Marley King? your the one with the bumper stickers right?
LL BELL email me or send me your email
Marley--I know Mary Benjamin, but knew Polly better; Polly was in our group; I saw her at Mall 'O America where I work; you can ask her about me.....
highland had a bit of traffic today..

Thanks Randy. I was thinking more like the carnival bottun. That would be the hunter's pride. To show your carnival button? so button would be a clue.
there were a few at Hazel Park as well...

"Hail the Vulc!!!" I think king Boreas is doing a really horrible job as the king of the north wind. Vulcans rule!! ---here comes summer!!
I got one from you at the pre-hash -they are awsome!
have you heard from Jake today? He was over here and then he went to Palace Pk. and then ?

69:Forest St.goes north to Phalen, but I don't know if it goes all the way.
Not much about Phalen-but it has a golf course, where the 'woods' can be found.Just not in winter.
SSP- Crazy Aunt Polly! Gotta Love her! I will ask her
It's not in Bloomington unless St Paul just recently annexed it.
LL Bell - You Got Mail :)

sry leelabel but it was longfellow who wrote of time and tide NOT alexander pope
MinneSoda:You can't fool me.you're Governor Jesse Ventura.
If the snow keeps melting it won't be hard to find if it is on the ground.
THG said Jake was at como w/ camera crew earlier
forest goes all the way to wheelock pkwy, where it ends up being a bus turnaround. on the opposite side of wheelock, is the phalen golf course.
WHATZ.UP

What about the lower landing park along warner road...down the hills and well away from trees and along the river...
David Hubert...I am so not Jesse but thanks for trying.
Does Highland or BC have cross country skiing available?
Highlan does...at the 9-Hole Club House
-can anyone relate longfellow to anything?
Hey...I gotta JOE
GOGREENGO:Sounds like you were at the newer regional BCP,which is in Maplewood. It's not supposed to be hidden outside the city limits.
Me2- Lol- If you do talk to him before the next clue tell him to call/e-mail Me!!!
MiNneSoDa, Battle creek has X country Ski trails as well. They are Mountain bike trails in the summer. TREK is a mountain Bike brand.
Aside from the golf course, I thought Highland Park was just a field across from the JR. and SR. High schools. Am I mistaken??
CS...thanks for the info. I'll keep that in mind as well.
