Hey OTS, how about that idea I had posted a lot earlier where we redraw the park maps, then find some sort of interface where people can mark what area of the park they had searched? Kinda like a virtual (and visual) logbook. Think it's at all doable?

I like that idea!

Clue #3 - Old Timer said in #3044 it was an anagram but didn't know what yet. Took her 'til post #5598-5606 after clue #9 to get it right on the money. Gave credit to homeless artist for the noodle in live chat.

Thats all I got so far. Took me a long time to do this, but I really wanted to know who came up with #3 anagram.

I'd have to say check it out yourself before posting it. But maybe it should be posted as a thought afterwards. But to wait 'til after 6 more clues is being a little too selfish I think. Unless your just stealing ideas and don't want to contribute your own ideas to the group.

if people don't share noodles...they may mark an area as searched even if it aint so they can go later and check it out.

they may think it will keep people out

probably need a good system to make sure that isn't the case... or just a good bunch of people that are willing to be honest.

I'm just grumpy right now I guess. I slogged back for 4 hrs to find out that info after I asked earlier about who got it. And I just posted it and you immediatly tell me he had it 15 min after the clue! I didnt even know about it 'till #9. And I do slog!

besides, just because someone marks an area doesn't mean someone else won't go back and search it again anyways, lol just think of all the people that dug in and around the valley of death this year.

not too bad, had a couple other ideas pop up I want to work into it, nothing too complex really, just a couple little things.

Well regardless... what ever we start working, i'll password protect it. It' can be as simple as loading an image and if you search something let me know or send me an updated version of the picture and then i'll just switch them out.

Once we target a certain park or parks we'll just work them on the site and keep taps on images that people post etc.

Didn't you tell me you were thinking about having the medallion have a bite taken out of it or something???
