Well I would be happy to donate "who hid it" starring clifford the big red dog. I know that was your original masterpiece!! maybe that will help with your crosby map, I hate to complain but you did miss that tree that was next to that tree over there.
I've been just fine. Baking cakes, muffins and such in the shadows of Pillsbury mill. Tee-heee.
So Pioneer press forums are where the action is happening this year? I havn't gone over there yet. Just been a PF CC loyalist I supose. I guess I'll go check out elsewhere while we wait for clue 10....
Just wanted to pass along this info. There's an air quality alert today and for the next couple of days. Tonight the air is in the "unhealthy" range for everyone, not just for sensitive groups (those with asthma, those over 50, those with heart disease). So people should limit prolonged exertion outdoors. Here's a link:
I wonder with the warmer temps if there will be fog. That would be a sight, 3 AM with 30 feet of visibility and only the sound of metal on ice and turf.
Because of the parking situation and if the hunt goes to 12 clues or for that matter even 11, I think it would be wise to be INthe park by 8 and be waiting for the phone call.
I wouldn't blame them, the parking is horrible and very limited. Not like a neighborhood park where you can get away with parking 5 blocks away. If you don't get a spot on the street that leads in, you're easily walking a mile before you even sniff the park.
I heard that the filmmakers are entering the documentary into juried film festivals, and that means they can't release it widely for at least another year. But maybe that's just a rumor.
Maybe one of the hunters who knows them better has an answer for sure?
Hi all. Much slogging past. Air pollution warnings. In Minnesota. In January. That's just not something I'd expect. California - yup. Minnesota??
I know I should try to get some decent rest, but I can hardly wait to see what direction the next clue will lead....last night I told myself I was going to bed, but managed to find some excuse of something to check on downstairs......and found the computer long enough to at least read through the clue and try to let it sink in.
I doubt if I'll be able to get back out there before it's uncovered. We don't have any auditors facing us, but it's always a very busy time the first few days of the month for me. *Maybe* I'll get out tomorrow night, if I can steal a nap right after work -- if the clue is worth any salt.
Thanks Terry V - I bookmarked the site this time so I shouldn't have trouble finding it in future. Sure hope I can get to the movie this next weekend. I haven't gone out hunting at all this year - perhaps when I get a cheauffer (sp?)
Do you know if they ever ended up using the CD w/ the Legend of the Winter Carnival or the song "Come to the Carnival at Old St. Paul"?
I still have to get that out every year at Carnival time...
You know, I have watched the movie twice and though there is background music for some of it, I can't tell ya. I've been too busy watching the people on the screen to think about what music I'm hearing.
It is very well done and if you can, you should go see it.
Don't forget the woods beyond the forest. That was magical!
Yup. That Map Guy has a keen business sense.Â
Delivery is always personal....if you live close enough (or in) to St. Paul. Mappy is also Speedy.
You mean you personally delivered my copy?! That is service!

If you're in the saintly city, I saw your house evildoer.
And I bet he has it mapped out too!
I'm on the same side of paradise (town) as you Mappy.
...few have seen the fortress of evil and lived to tell...

Be careful out there!
Because of the bad air out there, I'm staying home.
Nap Guy.
I doubt that will be found during the night hours anyways.
Yeah, I'm not going out tonight.......
Â
Â
Okay, maybe I will.......
Ugh, I'll see you all out there.
bed time...one of you find it, please.

I heard earlier today - probably on the way to or from the park - that there is to be fog by morning.
3 AM with 30 feet of visibility and only the sound of metal on ice and turf.
And every so often screams of people who are next to people who aren't careful swinging their tools around
Cool! I'm heading out and bringing my camera. That'll make for some fun photos.
And every so often screams of people who are next to people who aren't careful swinging their tools around
And the crimson colored snow...
...I've always said its a battle out there.

That's clue 12
Yeah, steel toe boots are very valuable on the 12th clue
That's clue 12
Ha! That kills me. :)
Because of the parking situation and if the hunt goes to 12 clues or for that matter even 11, I think it would be wise to be INthe park by 8 and be waiting for the phone call.
I know a lot of people are talking about not going out there if it goes to clue 12.
I wouldn't blame them, the parking is horrible and very limited. Not like a neighborhood park where you can get away with parking 5 blocks away. If you don't get a spot on the street that leads in, you're easily walking a mile before you even sniff the park.
And with air pollution advisories out, you don't want to do much of that sniffing.Â
No, it's the have-no-fear-and-swoop-in-on-clue-10-and-find-it-by-1am part of the hunt right now. Well, it is for me at least :)
I saw scribe, leelabell, Tim, New Daddy and Stallion this morning!
Calling all Coolers:
On Wednesday Zephy will be knighted by King Boreas on the steps of the State Capitol at 2:40. Everybody is welcome... the more coolers the merrier!Â
Hi everyone! Just went thru many posts.
I have a question: Does anyone know if I don't get a chance to make it to one of the showings of the movie will there be a DVD on sale?
Thanks.
Hi Annie.Â
Yes. There will be a DVD released later this year.
Thanks Terry V - would love to know how I could get ahold of a copy. Even if I do make it I'm sure I'd love a copy.
I heard that the filmmakers are entering the documentary into juried film festivals, and that means they can't release it widely for at least another year. But maybe that's just a rumor.
Maybe one of the hunters who knows them better has an answer for sure?
Annie - there will be information on the website I'm sure.

is there a flower garden at crosby

Yippee Kai-yi-yay- Get along little dogies
Seeee them tumbling down...
Driiift-ing along with the tumbling tumble weeds.
Cool- clear- water.
Woooo-woooo-doowoop dowooo, singin' the cattle call.
I thought a few sons of the pioneers and eddie albert tunes would help us figure out the clues.
And now dear children, I must lay me down. MCL & SCD'S, to all, and to all a good night.
You know, I have watched the movie twice and though there is background music for some of it, I can't tell ya. I've been too busy watching the people on the screen to think about what music I'm hearing.

I don't see why the clue writer couldn't write them as the hunt progresses.
