Great Freeway access for the quick in and out.
And the cabbies won't take ya if your drunk. :crying: :coolfrown:
Just saw you in the movie today I watched with my step son Steven.
Obbs=best choice
plus... I'll probably have to pee after the bar closes anyways, so I can just cross the street and do it in the woods, where it'll feel more natural this time of year...
Oh.... and fyi...
the cops have been out like crazy around here lately, so watch how you drive...
ya heard?
And I bet if we play our cards just right we could get a pizza dliverd to the PARK!!! lol
one thing I dont know is if We can fight in to Obbs or for that mater if they stay open tell 2????
hell ya if kat says ya to it she has been busting ass since day one and has got toes steped on a few times I want her in put also!!!!!!!!!
Because like I said shes been busting ass on this!!! and do you think we could have lilman Dj down there??? would be another thing???
a few of us have been brainstorming and I know Cluey has called around too. I like obbs but I also like the new Bulldog downtown.
Unless you would like to go to Shenanigans in Rosemount. They can hold like 20 people extra, if 10 of them are regulars, and I can get sloppy drunk and walk home.
And it's just 20 short minutes to the paper! :pbpt:
who ever calls Obbs should be sure to see if they are open til 2.
See you guys at the paper Sunday or Monday...
During the rest of the hunt (pre-clue nights), I still think we need to be downtown. But, I never want to give my money to Great Waters again.
So from what I read it seems Obbs is the first choice for most. I already have it arranged to call them back in the morning so I will do what I do best and post tomorrow the details...
Good night all!
O'Gara's - Bands in every room on the weekends. I can go there any weekend and have the same experience i'd have this weekend.
Great Waters - They'd promise us the banquet room, but if something better came along they'd call us and tell us sorry.
Obb's - They want us there. They aren't in any danger of going out of business. The guy would actually show some loyalty towards us.
Obbs- Jake likes Obbs
F-This - I'm outtie!!......
Hi MnM - Have fun in Vegas
Back when I worked at Univac, Unisys, we used to go there all the time.
It is just a straight shot down 7th to the paper.
 sorry I don't remember the name of it.
Well the name fits,,,
Starting Gate
As for the nightly gig I would vote for something downtown as well. The idea is that you get downtown early, find a good parking spot, hang out for a while, walk to the paper to get the clue, and then run off to your good parking spot to get to where you think you're going. I like Wild Thymes well enough. I've never been to the Bulldog. There's a bar in the Crowne Plaza which would be convenient, but I doubt they want us there.
Is there a bar in the basement that will be staffed? Or, do we have to go upstairs to get our drinks? Because if we have to keep going upstairs, the group will be separated.
Also, is there a breakfast spot near Obbs? At least Wild Tymes is walking distance to Mickeys.
Yes, downtown is ideal. I was trying to think of easy access
to PP. I have never been to Obbs, and by the sounds of it the access
is not a straight shot.
I didn't even know there was a change of hands.
I haven't been in there since 1990.
I was just throwing out ideas.
Is Obbs going to be the rest stop every night, or possibly somewhere else? How late is Erberts and Gerberts open up the street from Matty B's?
omg...heaven!!!!
I fell asleep thinking of Mancinnis and Digideos too for pre-dig.
Obbs is first choice for this girl.
