Kaposia - back in the day it was the only place to play...but for today, it's the closest to me and I was having truck troubles so I didn't want to go far. turns out I had to get a jump from another golfer and had to buy a battery for the truck- $100
my new putt'r...looks like its going to be an nice layup disc...I just can't seem to get it to drop...it hits the chains and flys off and wants to roll.
I'm going to back to the blowfly for my 35feet and in...
I will be using my "PUTT'R" for my 75 foot to 35foot shot thou...It is too cool of a disc to stick in the trunk of my car.
as for my "epic" disc....I'm going to start using it as my TOMAHAWK disc as I was able to get it to right side back up again....
the new Prototype...still has some major quirks to it...I'd now put it at a -1.5 the sucker is just wicked when I put some power behind it...I need to just lay back and let it fly straight with only letting it fly 200 and be happy with that.
Notes for myself...I'm still a big time rookie..but I want to keep a journal
didn't make it to comotown cause of weather but played Acorn. There were these 3 9-11 yr old boys walking around searching for discs. One kid did find a discraftZ clear yellow first run - and he was acting all cool and telling his friends how to play like he knew everything. All I could think about was that kitch had already scowered that park and found all the discs -
Whitney was my caddy- she loved it! She helped find my discs just like Dan did (- one of the guys that Becksie and I hooked up with at Kaposia ) I was in the kitchen with my neighbor and I could here her in the livingroom telling the neighbor kids how to play as she tossed a disc into a candlestand, telling them that it was her first time out today but as if she knew it all. hahaha
I think I can't play without a caddy or someone with a good eye :worried: :frown:
I had an 86 softy putter that was great when I was first starting out. If you find one, get it. You won't be disappointed. The Magnet is better for the longer range putts.
But I can't say much - I suck at putting well except for one game back with Tim and Pops anyway.
I've got that putter but not those colors. Could you imagine losing that thing over the edge on 4 at koposia? Or on one of the later holes where it rolls and rolls? That would be insane.
How was this supposed to help start your truck?
