ah yes your right- but maybe a brother? they just gotta be related
I have a 'short' in one of my nightlights :frown:
I tried it last night at kaposia but it didn't work well cause the closest I have to tape it to is a semi seethrough disc -so it wasn't as bright- my clearblue zwildcat should be here any day now.
Sorry, me2. I thought Kitch asked that question. I agree, they probably are related.
A few months ago I got a letter from Bayfield County WI informing me that someone was building on a lot near us. Now, this is in the middle of nowhere and the person building was Steve Apfelbacher, Scott's brother. Small world, isn't it?
Drove up there yesterday because I just bought the land behind us and wanted to take a look at the trees I bought and the ground they grow in. Figured I'd grab it before Steve did. The leaves were beautiful!
hey, I threw out at Northview thismorning and then went back thisafternoon - nice a short, I can see why its a good place to practice quick on a lunch break - can do it in 15-20 minutes - liked #1 and #6
They have cool tenniscourts as well I may check out next time I go.
last night at kaposia -got one stuck 15 ft up in a tree (took 15 minutes to get it down) then someone stole my teebird - didn't like it anyhow but sad
I played about 5 holes...I didn't have time to play the entire course...
I even over drove a 350 yard hole...about crapped my pants...cuz I really didnt' throw it all that hard....it just kept catching an under current that lifted it up every time it dropped near the ground.
I'm going up to Sacramento tonight and there is a HUGE diskgolf park near my bf's house. I've been meaning to take him there and play around.
As a kid I used to play Acorn Park in Roseville with a 99 cent frisbee and would make par - I'm sure even with a spendy disk now, I'll prolly suck @ it.
I got in a bit of trouble yesterday when the hubby opened the back hatch to the truck and all these discs had flung out of my bag all over the back! DOH! It felt like 100's but was only probly 15-20
we should all go sometime - but disc golfin is easier to get people to meet up lately and costs less :eyeroll:  ...unless you hit the bar first, that is :eyeroll: :pbpt:
I am sooo jealous! That is like a dream come true. Course now that harvest is over, and courses don't close here - I'll have all winter to play providing it doesn't rain too much.
Drove past the disc course and a new short golf course up in Sac this weekend that I want to try out soon... mmmmm golf.
I'm worried that this weather is gonna get bad soon - was thinking of ditching out thisafternoon OR tomorrow morning - anyone up for some discin? don't care where -
I thinking of it...but my "crs" (collection resource system) crashed...which means (jeez I don't know yet what that means)...means I can't do my job...
means I might go home early today...and then be short on hours for the week...bigtime...

if you look at the map and hole #6 on playdg.com...you can tell that you should have been right there??

I don't know if there are any other discs I want though since I shopped the other day -but it was a nice thought-thanks for offering

True dat - Lemme know what you guys want.
seriously, I just want a free lesson.
or you could surprise us and get us all a "coolercrew" disc from here...
but I do like the lesson idea.

I hit my right ankle getting into the truck- :eyeroll:
oh...I'm still wearing one sock -
gotta go get ready for poker and cachin tonight
I'm not caching tonight, just gonna hit some parks for medallion coordinates (hopefully langford and acorn).
We're going to do "When Darkness Falls" Rubbertoes is our "escort"
then up to Maplewood for some Texas Holdem
I went to the sporting good store last night and they have all these different discs.
A driver 1 and driver 3 - both say they are distance - there is one called a putter - what do I really need to play?
also some are like super jelly like and others are kinda firm.
I throw like a limpwristed girl... suggestions?
