No he wants me to wash the feet of fellow Christians. Not the sworn enemies of good.

You really need to brush up on your Jesus. Jesus washed the feet of Judas.

You should love me, bodine... the way your own beliefs instruct you, lest you appear to be a hypocrite.

I'm not sin.

Jesus instructs you to love me.

"You have heard that the ancients were told, 'YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT MURDER' and 'Whoever commits murder shall be liable to the court.' But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty before the court; and whoever shall say to his brother, 'Raca,' shall be guilty before the supreme court; and whoever shall say, 'You fool,' shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell." (Matthew 5:21-22)

"You have heard that it was said, 'AN EYE FOR AN EYE, AND A TOOTH FOR A TOOTH.' But I say to you, do not resist him who is evil;but whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if anyone wants to sue you, and take your shirt, let him have your coat also. And whoever shall force you to go one mile, go with him two." (Matthew 5:38-41)

Jesus wants you to love me, bodine. Jesus doesn't want you to judge me or to be angry with me or to resist me or to call me names.

Jesus says you are supposed to love me, bodine.

I'm flattered by the suggestion, but I'm not Satan.

Satan is about as real a thing as the Tooth Fairy or the Easter Bunny.

Santa isn't spelled with those letters by accident.

"Santa Klaus" I think it's more of a German origin.

Along with his Nazi reindeer, Rudolph.

So then, why would Jesus save the life of a known Prostitute, a woman commonly referred to throughout the ages as the
"13th Apostle"?
In fact, he dared the crowd gathered around her, those that accused her of being worthy of death to,
if they were so pure in heart,
"Cast The First Stone"?

Jesus, of course, would like to redirect those souls that have been influenced by evil. There are the others that revel in it that cannot be redirected.

By overreaching first on the Iraq issue, and soon after on the nomination of Alito, Democrats have left behind the passive observer stance that had played well for them politically. Now, they have become the aggressor and unfortunately for them, the policies on which they have become aggressive -- immediate Iraq withdrawal and abortion litmus tests for judges -- are anything but mainstream.

Judge Samuel Alito’s critics are once again relying on distortion and misrepresentation to malign his record. This time the focus is on death penalty cases. In a recent Los Angeles Timespiece, UC Berkeley professor (and former law clerk to Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg) Goodwin Liu claimed ominously that Alito’s “opinions show a troubling tendency to tolerate serious errors in capital proceedings.”

He expects people to judge. He simply warned people that they should be just in their judgments as that person will be judged in the same manner.  To believe that Jesus taught that people should not judge at all would mean He believed in anarchy. He did not. And He certainly did expect people to forgive each other. I think He was asked how many times a man should forgive and I think the answer was as many times as he asked to.

What was that passage in the Bible...
"Judge Not, Lest Ye Be Judged"...?

I believe "HE" was referring to
EVERYONE.

Well, you need to read it again because He was not saying do not judge at all. He was saying be just in your judgments as you shall be judged in the same manner. But then you don't care what the Bible really says, do you?

that's what you claim to believe in.... Christ's teachings to love ALL, even your enemies.

so why do you hate so many?

what part of "judge not" don't you understand? It doesn't say "judge only as you would want to be judged"... it says "judge not"

This is what it says lying you jackass: Matthew 7:

1: Judge not, that you be not judged.

2: For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and the measure you give will be the measure you get.

and then there is this verse:

7: You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.

It would do you well, crabs, to not only read the Bible but to THINK about what the it says. Your flower child buddies got it all wrong. They were probably reading while they were high.

It would do you well, crabs, to not only read the Bible but to THINK about what the it says.

take the log out of your eye.

if you did you would see that it clearly says "Judge NOT" and then proceeds to tell you why you are not to judge others. It doesn't say "Judge not unless", it doesn't say "Judge not only if"... it says "Judge not" PERIOD and then tells you why it says that. Oh yeah... then it goes on to call the person who would judge a hypocrite.

think about what it says indeed.

why don't you try to think about what your precious Jesus is saying to you.

Your book also says "let he who is without sin cast the first stone". Why do I get the feeling that if you could, you would be up there pitching the first stone at me. You are one of the most unChristian people I've ever encountered.

He didn't say to love your enemies unless you think they are evil... He said to love your enemies PERIOD.

Go ask your pastor if Jesus taught you to judge and hate people.

See what he says.

if you did you would see that it clearly says "Judge NOT" and then proceeds to tell you why you are not to judge others. If you would actually read the Bible instead of just that part you want to you would no better. It says, again:

1: Judge not, that you be not judged.

2: For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and the measure you give will be the measure you get.

and then there is this verse:

7: You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out ofyour brother's eye.

Clearly Jesus wants you to take the speck out of your brothers eye if you can. Jesus after all wants you to be your brother's keeper. That means trying to keep him on the virtuous path.
