HELP!

I'm trying to staff a part-time medical assistant teaching position in eagan and am having zero luck. If you know ANYBODY who has 3 years' experience as a medical assistant and has at least a certificate of completion (more than high school) that wants to make good money please egram me ASAP.

Thanks

That's me but I'm happy where I'm at. I'll ask around though.

Wow...getting paid to make art...it's almost like you're really an artist. For real. Not pretend at all.

I'm in Facilities Management now

There is a lot of mental stuff that goes with treating MR/MI people. One can only handle it so long. I got out after 9 years.

Cluemaster, isn't Tony Soprano in "facilities management?"

There is tons of money in waste management. We should all be garbage collectors.

ESD - Sounds like you've found a good job that you are enjoying! Good for you!!

Warning: Proud Mother Story Ahead!

My son has finally gotten Federal and FBI clearance. He will be working for the Federal Park System beginning later this month. He will be with the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area!

And the best news for this Mom - is that he will be working right here!

Great! Someone with the parks department with a security clearance. Truly, we're all winners here.

The clearance to get this was unbelievable.

Fingerprints, background checks, character checks, when he worked, when he didn't, where he's lived...took weeks!
Thu, 02/02/2006 - 7:24 PM Permalink
Terry

Zephy - I don't think he'll be doing background checks...and if you're a shady character, you're one of the nicet shady characters I've ever known.

Could you just see that? Pretty soon the FBI would be investigating people hunting in the parks in the dead of winter...and all our phones would be tapped.

That sounds excellent, Terry. And, having him close to home is even better.

It sure is...after 2 1/2 years at grad school in Michigan and then 2 1/2 years in Guatemala, I cherish every minute he's here.

This should have been the weekend of the Rehash Bash. But it's not. I'm still bummed about that, but considering it's colder this weekend than last, maybe it's okay. If I tell myself that long enough, maybe it'll sink in.

So instead we're going to head north and probably make a big batch of soup or chili or something warm and yummy and just hang out.

The son and the dog units of this family are joining us so it should be a fun ride up and back.

See yaz later!
