Anybody know of a good limo service? The classic car rental place that I wanted to get one from sold the 1955 Rolls Royce that I wanted...So, starting from scratch.
We got the Rolls rental as a gift for our wedding. It is a VERY cool ride, but it is DEFINITELY a TWO-seater. We had the limo shuttle our parents two-at-a-time from the church to the reception. We got to ride around St. Paul for about 25 minutes before we had to return. The ride went all too quickly.
We cruised around in this last Saturday for my cousin's wedding. Huge! 6 miles to the gallon :eyeroll:
It turned worse than a semi but we didn't care.
I have his card at home if you want it. Pretty good driver. Nobody else drives that beast other than him. He was going to pick up Michael Bolton after he dropped us off.
just from a Former Limo drivers point of View I wouldn't go with the Strected SUV's they are BIG TIME Not good for this state!!!
You can see it in the one CM got to roll in!! f you look at the Roof of it there is a bend about mid way back and the WHOLE roof Sages thats NOT JUST THE ROOF!!! THATs because the frames on them are shot and warped!!!!
I don't think I'm gonna make a midnight showing with having to work the next morning but this is a MUST SEE movie - if it's showing up in Aitken this weekend I'll take whitney to it.
I don't know If that will be as fun as you think - those thing weigh a freakin ton once they are full of water and/or bodies. You tow, park and fill. If you try to tow again AFTER the fill, well, good luck with alllllll that!
I worked the Midnight showings as an usher for Star Wars 1 - The Phantom Menace.
Three screens, TWO late shows each - we filled five of them. Most of the 'freaks' were in the first two shows, the rest was high schools kids who got permission to stay up past bedtime.
Well SOMEBODY left an empty six pack (still in their plastic rings) in theater Six. Now, after all those years, I finally have a suspect. Did YOU try for the Beldar slam (from Coneheads) during the previews?

I was out there every night blabbing with the guys in line. I didn't know you then. I need to go back and look at my pictures now and see if you're in any of them. That was a pretty cool time. I can't believe you guys were out in that rain that one night. Yuk. Did you have one of the bigger tents? We were at the 12:01 showing in theater 1 as well. Rowdy crowd for a bunch of Star Wars geeks.
I remember sitting inside the main area waiting to be allowed into the theater itself and making a comment that I was glad I wasn't one of those Star Trek geeks being that Star Wars was sooo much better. The crowd turned on me pretty fast. I thought I was going to get pummeled.
I linked some photo stills from the Forrest Gump Movie.
The images showed up when I first placed them, but every time I come back to this thread there is nothing shown between the horizontal lines. I've seen this a couple times before in other posts and I'm not sure why.
Thanx Cluey - I tried to post four of the images from the movie -
- Gump & Bubba by the river in Vietnam
- Gump on the Capitol Mall Rally
- Lt. Dan legless on the Shrimping Boat
- Jenny Flashing 'Peace' out the back of the Bus
Memorial Day is here for the Vets - We get those preachy garbage e-mails all the time about how we should respect our freedom and those who paid for it. On Memorial Day, I'll give them that respect.
Ohhhh THAT is freaky - my iTunes shuffle just started playing Greewood's "Proud To Be An American" here at work. Have a good weekend folks!
After spending a year (one of the worst of my life) working at a debt settlement company, I feel that I am obligated to warn as many consumers as possible about how badly you can ruin your financial situation by using one of these companies. My new job is at an all natural bakery, I no longer wish to swerve my truck into a tree on the way to work. Debt settlement is the process of eliminating your debt by ceasing payment to the creditor, and then negotiating with the card companies or collection agency to pay less than the balance owed
cheep!!
HAY any one want to help me move some this weekend??? I have to Start Moving!!! on sat and Sunday!!!
isn't that what trucks are for

I expect there'll be a few fedoras being worn, and people injuring themselves trying to play with bull whips...
Midnight showings are entertainment in themselves, heh.
Agreed. I loved all the Star Wars showings that started it.
