Do you guys know there is a pub crawl in Downtown Saint Paul on Friday night - hosted by the Vulcans to benefit kids - they are going to take the money and buy gifts with it.
B - they were very last minute letting other groups in on it
C - haven't heard a lot of good things about it
A new group is trying to form calling themselves the Carnival Characters.... they plan on using the money to buy Thanksgiving dinners for families less fortunate.
If you will be going please let me know by Wednesday, November 19 so I can add you to "reserve list" and we will know how many trucks we'll need. Thanks, Carolyn
Calling all Ambassadors & Uniformed Groups
A group of us (Carnival Characters) are organizing a pub crawl and will use the donations to purchase food items for Holiday baskets. These will then be donated to families in need.
November 21,2008 - $10.00 Donation/person - Food delivered Week 3 December to those families signed up through the local food shelf.
Please see the flyer attached and if you are interested please contact me at 651-775-2400 or individuals listed on flyer. The fire trucks will hold up to 40 people so we need to keep track of who wants to go so we don't oversell the spaces available. Hope you can join in the fun....Carolyn Blakey
We got some friends from my college days in St. Cloud that invite us up for a Christmas Party and limo lights cruise once a year. Part of the deal is finding a $10 gag gift to exchange. I'm trying to find out who still has one of these:
It's a legitimate novelty product, but all the links for selling them all lead back to www.dvdrewinder.com which is a site that has 'access forbidden' which (I assume) means it is down at not selling anymore. Amazon has a listing for them, but says 'product is no longer available'.
nights are gonna be tough. I can't do anything at night before monday. (I'm working 6pm to 6am sat and sunday) Even after then I'll be working 11pm to 7:30am and would like to sleep before work if possible. I'm off work wednesday morning and through the weekend after that. I can't haul a couch in the bed of my truck because of the cover on it, so I need a trailer.
I saw those entries on e-Bay. I'm a bit wary of them because they don't show pictures of the actual product, and the pictures they DO show doesn't look anything like the original packaging. Would YOU buy it?

The soft-drink maker said in March that it would give a free soda to everyone in America if the album dropped in 2008. "Chinese Democracy," infamously delayed since recording began in 1994, goes on sale Sunday.
"We never thought this day would come," Tony Jacobs, Dr Pepper's vice president of marketing, said in a statement. "But now that it's here, all we can say is: The Dr Pepper's on us."
Beginning Sunday at 12:01 a.m., coupons for a free 20-ounce soda will be available for 24 hours on Dr Pepper's Web site. They'll be honored until Feb. 28.
Dr Pepper is owned by Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Inc.
Save lots of money stay home and shop from there NOTHING REALLY worth spending what they want and they wont go down on prices you cant haggle at all with this group!!!
