So it's been one week since receiving my text book for school. I have been flipping through it and getting excited to start (but haven't started yet).
Note to self contact the other person taking the class to see if she wants to form as "study partners" then get a game plan laid out to get the class done.
Called "study partner" to see when she would like to get together - meeting this Thursday - sounds young and spunky on the phone - Oh also found out that she didn't wait for the text book and started on-line right away and is already up to chapter 10! :lipsealed:
whoa- soooo, whats the point of the textbook then?
bumbed that no-one told me that Drkulas does have poker anymore.
it's on the nspt website :frown: had a couple drinks and lost at pulltabs.
very long story but I got a call from a cop that had nothing to do with my pending case.... they caught one of the guys that has my stuff. His dad lived 4 blocks from my friends house. He stole FROM my car and then walked around the corner and actually stole someone elses car!!! I have to go in and pick up my stuff - hoping its all there - sounds like he threw some away - pawned some and kept some.
crazy story all around. after I found out that the 21 yr old black guy had felony charges for gun posession and other warrants out for his arrest? I lost the drive to put him on a meat hook and tell him to tell me where my stuff was. He is from Louisiana. stole the car and my stuff in Battle Creek - used credit cards at the gas station at 94 and Lexington with some punk kids and pawned my ring at the Pawn America on Robert in West St Paul. I'd say he gets around for being from out of town.
I was only dumb enough to leave my car door unlocked - the other girl was dumb enough to leave her moonroof open and keys in the car. wow.
I think I will get 95% of it back -and most importantly, some special papers, daughters ss card and my wedding ring.
not til tomorrow though.
the guy still claims my cellphone was his though- don't know why, it's an old clunker Nextel that I only kept around because of the sim card in it with all my friends and family phone numbers and old txts on it.
just got a call from whitney that she heard water somewhere ... she stepped outside and saw the outdoor faucet running (disconnected the hose from it on Sunday -5 days ago). Some animal musta hit it or something. She said it was running pretty hard.... so I send her to the basement.... sure enough ...she said about 1 1/2 inches of water draining down the sewer drain!!!! geee, I just can't wait to get home from work.
Duwnoody leases laptops and every 2 years we upgrade - the laptops that were swapped over the summer have been wiped clean and re installed with the Windows XP operating system.
Going on sale $325 - next week (exact dates to come tomorrow).
If you are interested I would need a check or you can come in yourself.
Note: after the initial announcement to staff & faculty, they ware listing them on Craig's list but will be upping the price a little - but being that IT loves me here - they said if I had buyers they would stay at the $325.
Note: only the first 250 laptops have the CD burner.
cuz I wasn't sure which clamps or connectors I'll need.
What I can't understand is how the flexible aluminum ducting (first item above) is going to stay connected to the draft blocker (second item above). It looks like the ducting would easily slip off the draft blocker, even with clamps. Are the slots on the corners of the draft blocker for some kind of fasteners?
My dryer is 10 feet from the exit duct to the outside.
There are not very many instructions with this stuff, but on the website it says more than six feet needs to be supported, but it doesn't say with what.
the worm gear clamps should hold...they really crank down when you tighten them...
the slots in the corners for the draftblocke normally attach to an wall. but I'm not sure why you need that...don't you alrdy have one on the outside of your house???
make sure you clean the one outside good sometimes they get stuck open.
Not sure if there is a draft block on the outside - guess I'd better check that out first! Maybe I don't even need this piece - it just looked like such a good idea...
My dryer is about 10 feet diagonally from the exit pipe, so the pipe runs at a diagonal. I might have to get my contractor over here to help me with that part of it!
I can move the dryer over a foot or two to get it down to 9' although the exit connection is not technically a 90-degree like I have where the duct connects at the dryer.
I do have the 2.5" exit vent so really should keep it down to 9' according to this article, to be safe, or else change out the outside vent.
However, I do have the option to move the dryer over a foot or two.
Moving it over two feet would allow me to just use one 8-foot section of ducting, which would be cheaper and then wouldn't require any connection of ducting segments.
However, there is a "lint clean out" connector that seems pretty handy for cleaning out lint as recommended.
Well, I have more info now than I did. If youse guys think of anything else, I welcome all info as I figure this out!
I haven't done mine either yet. I think it is warm enough right up against the house that it is still OK until we get consistent temps below freezing, but I will take care of mine this week.
I did take the hoses down and laid them so they would drain downhill. They are still outside, but we will get a day in the 40s this week and I will wind them up and put them away in the garage.
or Blue Fox? or going up to Columbus?
I'm thinking Drkulas.
I think Im gonna head over there tonight if anyone wants to find me
I need a couple drinks
amoco got a servelience of the 3-4 teenagers getting cash from a guy in a truck and giving him more gas than the cash.
trying to get a copy - if I get ahold of what these boys look like I'm not giving up til I find them.

He might think they'll go easier on him if he tells, and you'd get your stuff back.
So sorry to hear you are going through this!
Edit: I guess I misunderstood. So you didn't get your stuff back? Or just some of it.
not til tomorrow though.
the guy still claims my cellphone was his though- don't know why, it's an old clunker Nextel that I only kept around because of the sim card in it with all my friends and family phone numbers and old txts on it.

Now trying to figure out how to attach this:
http://www.dundasjafine.com/products/flexible/aluminum.html
to this:
http://www.dundasjafine.com/products/accessories/draftblocker.html
I have these types of clamps:
http://www.dundasjafine.com/products/accessories/gearclamps.html (the worm gear type)
and these types of connectors:
http://www.dundasjafine.com/products/accessories/connectorkit.html
cuz I wasn't sure which clamps or connectors I'll need.

Anybuddy out there who has dealt with this?
If so, thanks for any help you can give me.

good read...
I thought I'd look up proper distances for you...
since it seems like you have a lot of distance...

heck you should see my dryer duct venting...
you would laugh your butt off and say "why did I listen to this guy"
seriously I have it all wrapped up with an tinfoil like insulation wrap...
I have issues in the winter time with cold air no matter what I do.
(yes I have an fancy outside exhaust that is suppose to help)
Seems like certain times of the year, this happens with greater frequency.

The first video has a segment at the end of some baby red squirrels - unrelated to the bird rescue - but awfully cute!
I did take the hoses down and laid them so they would drain downhill. They are still outside, but we will get a day in the 40s this week and I will wind them up and put them away in the garage.
