The only thing I know about dryer vents is the last time we changed ours, we went from the flexible to the formed venting based on the advice of someone. Then our dryer sits right below the thingy going outside. Sounds like yours is sorta kitty corner?
Either one of those clamps should work. They screw down pretty tight. You might find you need one person to hold the clamp in place while the other person does the tightening. I was the lucky holder until Inks got frustrated because he kept grabbing the thingy so he could get to the screw easier and kept disconnecting the darned thing. Once he held and I did the tightening, it went slick.
I use this site to check out new hotels I'm planning on staying at. Its got some really good information. You do have the ignorant few who obviously can never been happy. I've read occasional reviews from people who complained not enough people spoke english and too many Mexicans....SHOCKING Mexicans in MEXICO?? I seriously think that these people think that they build these resorts strickly for Americans....Ignorant people...
OH and if you plan on staying out in Nuevo Vallarta remember its like $20 each way to go into Puerto Vallarta and back.

yeah well I'll be back in time for our hunt this year...I won't be making the mistake again of going out of town during the hunt like I did a few years back....Not only was I out of town I was miserably bored out of town! YUCK nothing worse than being on vacation and being bored

Have a special snack setup where he is getting ready - nothing tooo heavy, in case of un-calm nerves...
Ensure his favorite song is played at the reception... if you can get him a microphone and a lot of booze, that'd be okay too !
