A few days of missing slogging and 900 posts later, I'm still confused on the situation. Should I ask for the cliff notes, or would it be better to play dumb on the situation and let it pass?
I've never been the most vocal person in my 5 or so years here, but I've always admired the way people have come together through a common interest. Like THX, G, Tim, etc. have said, there will be sub groups that emerge, it's inevitable. Co-existsing these groups is a delicate matter, hopefully a common ground can be reached so that everyone, not just the parties directly involved, can at least tolerate each others company.
I feel a ramble coming on so I'll stop before it gets too long, and probably not my place to say much with the events going on here recently. I've had great memories with almost all of you in here, and while it seems as though the bigger we get the more disputes we'll have, we can all just try and focus in on the positives that brought us here in the first place.
med2k- wicked nick is accused of harrassing cocorosie, he was banned. we fought about it. somehow the old argument about our secret thread got brought up, we argued some more. then the puck posse started their own thread "paul x gleason memorial fund drive", and since then things haven't been better!
Those that think MM can't have a thread to chat with friends. Well they can eat shit and die. Her thread is no different to me than those complainers picking up a phone and inviting their friends to the opening of Star Wars. Or e-mailing them about their attic. Or when they e-gram each other about how work was or how their LOMA test went, (and FYI I see their damn names popping up and down the who's here list all the time, without any posts happening, and it's fucking hypocritical!). Basically, it's all just different ways of contacting/communicating with people from within here.
I agree. The new thread is just another place to chat with friends, same as The Breakfast Club. The only difference being it is out in the open, not a "secret thread", and anyone can chime in.
It's hard to answer those since they are so obviously related to their character, so I'll go with the most fitting right now.

Maybe I've figured it out. Would it be silly to paint the boards in my garage before the boys put them up? At least I have a little heater in there. Or does the fact that the sofits are protected from rain/snow because of their position on the garage protect them unprimed until spring? Just wondering.
