Almost makes ya want to buy your own cow huh? Then you'd have all the milk you wanted for free... plus they'd cut (eat) your grass for you as well. No more mowing the yard.
Unfortunately, the state of Minnesota has regulations on how much you can charge for milk
are you just kidding because of the gas regulations? I can't see your face when you said that so I dont know if you are being sarcastic. Milk at Rainbow for Kemps is $4.09 and only $2.99 for that Rainbow 'off brand'. hmmmm, can we get an 'off brand' gas? for cheaper? hehehe
I went out to Como(I said it. NO!!!!) Zoo today wit my sister, cause she was playin hooky from work... I havent been out there in a grip....
Their prolly like half done building that new education center/restaurant building thing, and have the visitor center, over by the wolf lot now....
They have the path leading down to where the bears are/were closed... we were guessing that they prolly dont have any bears anymore? Anyone know?
We stood around and watched the polar bears swim and play and be fed..... their brothers... the ones they got 2 years ago... their names are Buzz and Neil... their fun to watch... especially when they have little play fights, and try to act bad ass for the crowds watching them.... they actually look right at you, when you call their names... kinda like big dogs...... REALLY, REALLYÂ big dogs.
We were walking by the "seal island" thing, and they were doing a training session/show.... interesting to know... that they just retired Sparky #5 last year, because his eyes are getting bad. (seal island is where the retired ones go, to live now)... he had been THE Sparky for 20 years...... I was always under the impression that they changed them up every couple years... but, nope... guess thats not the case.
They had all the Oranguntangs outside for a change.....the baby one, was hiding under a red, plasitc swimming pool the entire time..... but all the big Gorillas were still inside.... they've only got 3 of them, now that Casey is in that zoo in new orleans.... I think they must have a deal going on with that zoo, because alot of their animals have come from there, and alot of ours end up going there.
The Giraffe's and Zebras were all outside too.... one of the worker ladies was planting flowers and scared one of the Zebras, so he took off running and in the process, scared another one, and that one chased the first one into a corner, and they started play fighting.... funny stuff...

Yea plus all those hamburgers and roasts and steaks! Yummy!
In 1937, Congress enacted legislation to establish milk prices based primarily upon the distance of the farming operation from Eau Claire, WI. During the thirties our country lacked the technology and infrastructure to rapidly and effectively transport drinkable milk and there was a legitimate need Congress addressed. The result was the creation of a regional milk payment system to facilitate the production of milk in shortage areas—known as the milk market order system.     Our world and the dairy industry have changed dramatically in the 62 years the milk-marketing system has been in place. Unfortunately, the milk marketing system has remained relatively unchanged and the Secretary's recent reforms represent the first real reforms to the milk marketing order system since its inception.     I was deeply troubled to discover that plans are already underway to reject the Secretary's proposal and legislate a return to the status quo. The status quo is based upon 60-year old technology; it assumes that the same milk production deficits existing in 1937 exist today; and it unfairly penalizes dairy producers from the upper Midwest by placing into law the requirement that our farmers have to receive a lower price for the milk they produce than dairy farmers from other areas.     We need a system that makes economic sense. A system in which farmers are no longer penalized or rewarded based on a guideline as arbitrary as for the distance they live from Eau Claire, WI—a milk marketing system based on sound economic principles instead of antiquated assumptions.
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The House Agriculture Committee on Wednesday rejected a bipartisan attempt to abolish a Depression-era federal program that sets milk prices based on the distance between a farmer' s herd and Wisconsin. The complicated dairy program is one of the last federal farm price programs yet to be dismantled under the landmark 1996 law that phased out most price supports for corn, wheat, soybeans and other crops. Debate over Ohio Republican John Boehner's proposal to kill the program reflected the geographical divisions among panel members, as well as deep philosophical differences over how far the government should go to help family farmers trying to compete with large agribusinesses. Under the current law, the farther a dairy farmer is located from Eau Claire, Wisconsin, the more he or she can command in the market for wholesale milk. That means dairy farmers in Florida receive as much as $3 per hundredweight more for their milk than those in the upper ...
For many years the Department of Agriculture has supported minimum prices for diary products. Since the 1980s the support price has been partly based on the distance from Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Consequently, farmers in the South and West receive higher prices for their milk than farmers in the Midwest. The price differential between the base price in Eau Claire, the dairy capital of the world, and the minimum price in other regions is known as the "Eau Claire Bonus."
I haven't received the TV yet so I'm not sure if I can keep the 'medallion' or not. But you know me, I'll do my best to keep everything associated with the hunt. I already have the owner of Pro Pharmacy saving the posted clues for me.
Still a lil bummed about not finding the oakdale one, but at least I was in the right park the second evening.
Managed to nab 10 geocaches tonight (though most were virtuals). So I'm up to 209. At this rate, I should reach 300 by... the middle of August? Maybe..
Kick ass KC!! Glad I could help somebody with a new obsession.Â
Like us anals need that anyway
Thanks by-the-way. Roseville is next.  More and more communities are having these things. I can't wait for the IGH hunt later this summer. Maybe someone will actually find it this year.
Thanks for the congrats you guys! You all kick ass. Unfortunately it's been 3 days and the paper hasn't been able to find 'the guy' with the TV yet. What a rinky-dink operation. That's OK though. Finding it was the main thing.
Thanx :) She had a tumor that grew to about the size of a softball, I just couldn't leave her like that anymore, she's better off. now I just have to keep an eye on the other one, she will be very prone to depression, they have been together since they were babies.
Hey OTS - I love my new DVR from you guys. When the two tuner version comes in can you put my name on the list? Talk to ya in the early AM sometime soon.
Is there anyone in need of a gmail acct?
I got a bunch of invites again last night.
The prices for milk go down under federal law by how far away you are from Wisconsin. Some thing about making it "fair"

I think the thing with milk is, you can't sell it below cost. Whichs stores often did just to get you in the store to buy other items.
