My father worked in that building for more than 50 years. It was a beautiful building in it's day, but they kind of ruined it when they made it into a hotel.
This is all I could get of the UFO hovering overhead right now. Maybe it'll be better once the sun starts to go down. Anybody else see it or get a shot? This one was taken through my binoculars.
This kinda gives it perspective since it was/is such a perfect day out there. A shiny thing hanging out in a clear blue sky for hours tends to stand out a bit. Plus I'm attracted to shiny things anyway. (unfortunately not shiny medallions)
I doubt it'd be the Davinci Project, they aren't scheduled for a test flight yet, and if they are, they're way off course because that's supposed to be somewhere in Canada...
As a symbol of my faith that mankind will maintain the outer universe free from national wars and strife. That future travel in space will be safe for all intergalactic beings, all visitors from outerspace are welcome to park your ship in my backyard and we can walk down to Bugg's Bar for a Beer you will feel right at home there!!!!!!
Yep ninja... you didnt need to ask... its the tour for the 2nd half of the 6th Jokers card... ICP, ABK, Mack-10, and Mushroom Head...    anyone else, see the Vanda fight last night???? CRAZY stuff, man.
I for one am going to buy up a few hundred of those things and see if even one can duplicate that effect for so long without exploding or deflating. Let alone being able to make it so high and be bright enough for the whole metro to see.
A conspiracy guy at work said it had to do with Bush being here yesterday on his day off. It mysteriously left when he did. ;-)
Hey what does everyone think of having like a cooler crew summer/fall picnic at keller or something in sept?? It would be a pot luck type thing... and DEFINATELY bring the kiddies.. I've been so outta tune w/everyone that it would be nice to get caught up on everything. If you're all for it... leave me an email at evensonwbl@aol.comand tell me wutcha think!
Has anyone ever tried any of these things listed below? Someone e-mailed these ideas to me and they dont look half bad ;P
Â
When you
get "ads" enclosed with your phone or utility
bill, return these "ads" with your payment. Let the sending companies throw their own junk mail away.
When you get those "pre-approved" letters in the mail for everything from credit cards to 2nd
mortgages and similar type junk, do not throw away the return envelope.
Most of these come with postage-paid return
envelopes, right?
It costs them more than the regular 37 cents
postage "IF" and when they receive them back.
Â
Â
It costs them nothing if you throw them away!Â
In that
case, why not get rid of some of your other junk mail and put it in these cool little, postage-paid return envelopes.
Send an ad for your local chimney cleaner to American Express. Send a pizza coupon to
Citibank. If you didn't get anything else that day, then just send them their blank application back!
If you want to remain anonymous, just make sure
your name isn't on anything you send them.
You can even send the envelope back empty if you
want to just to keep them guessing! It still costs them 37 cents.
(I don't think it really cost them 37 cents though-I think its less)
The banks and credit card
companies are currently
getting a lot of their own junk back in the mail, but folks, we need to OVERWHELM them. Let's let
them know what it's like to get lots of junk mail, and best of all they're paying for it...Twice!
Â
Let's help keep our postal service busy since they are saying that e-mail is cutting into their business
profits, and that's why they need to increase postage costs again. You get the idea!
Or you could just call the "opt-out" no. and get your name off the credit card mailing list!!! It does work!!!
The national credit bureaus offer a toll-free number that enables consumers to opt-out of all pre-approved credit offerswith just one phone call. Call 1-888-5-OPTOUT (1-888-567-8688) for more information.
The Direct Marketing Association (DMA) offers the Mail, Telephone, and E-mail Preference Services, which allow you to opt-out of direct mail marketing, telemarketing and/or direct e-mail marketing from many national companies. Use the links below to access information and forms for the DMA's Mail, Telephone and/or E-mail Preference Services.
Visit the DMA's websitefor their most up-to-date information.

Thanks Kitch. I'll have to look into getting our names off of some of this junk mail. In the mean time though it's kind of fun sending the crap back to them at their expense. LOL
Has anyone seen my ankles and feet somewhere? I seem to have lost them.... what's now in their place looks like fat little sausages. ugh! One month left and counting!!
That used to be our home away from home a few years ago :) most of the regulars quit going there so we don't go that much anymore.
And I used to be a cook there :)
lol yeah kitch... only you would see it like that :P silly rabbit tricks are for kids!!
That Vulctober Fest sounds cool if nothing else than just seeing what they did to the place. Thanks for posting the link ares
And Ian - Good luck buddy. If they can find a loop hole to avoid paying one red cent they will.

They are comming to get you CM
If they are then that would finally explain tons of things for me.  My Calgon ship has arrived.
And I don't miss those little edit things one bit
hmmm...I wonder If you had the right angle if you could see it at night???
whereabouts in the sky is/was it?

Kare11 said it was a mylar ballon......ya right ...how??
It's a weather balloon!
(always worked as an explanation for the Air Force)
Sill no 'real' explanation's out yet.
But my butt feels weird for some reason ;-)

hmmmm...

Somebody called Kare11 and said thru his HighPower Telescope that the object was Mylar.
well if it was a mylar balloon, that had to be one big sucker to attract so much attention.
Seems like as good a explanation as any though. If I knew about it yesterday I coulda used my telescope.
I think I see a big purple Barney and the words Happy Birthday! ;)
Good one OT :-)

Are you going to tie them all to about 100 rolls of fishing line?
Can I attach a cache?
But if it does crash, I'll make sure to go recover it for ya, I'm betting the crash site will coincide with the missing '04 Medallion.
I wanna attach some of my G.I. Joes to it, too... they love to fly.

What do you all think of this TV? It's cheap, flat screen, has HDTV, is widescreen, and most importantly will actually fit in our cabinet.
