I could set it up like those office baby pools, where you will have until a certain date to get your guesses in, each guess would be either so much $$ or donation (haven't decided on this yet) and the winner would get the total in the pool. One guess would entail date, time of Isabella's arrival, her weight and length.

Any thoughts on this?

ok, what do you do when a baby sqirrel falls out of a tree?? the kids are freaking out! is there someone we can call to pick it up?? they brought it down to my house and I had to tell them to bring it back cuz my cat will eat it first chance he gets :(

Is it hurt?  Why can't it get back into the tree?

apparently the tree is pretty big and no one can reach to put it back, I think it's a big pine tree, and the sqirrel looks pretty young and I think it might be hurt too, it fell from quite a ways.

I'd suggest calling animal control, but speaking from past experiences, all they'll most likely do, is put it in their truck that has the box looking things on the side, and go kill it.

The Uof M has a wildlife refuge center that takes in all kinds of injured or abandoned baby animals. Let me do a search and see if I can locate their website and/or contact information for ya.

I found it!!! Here 's the website - it has the address & phone number on the front page. They take in any / all MN wildlife that's injured (adults & babies) or abandoned (babies). I used to volunteer there back in the days when I was pursuing a Veterinarian career.

if you're going to keep it tho... get a box, put a heating pad in it and get an eye dropper and a can of bitches milk. I've raised tons of squirrles. if worse comes to worse... I can take it off your hands. I've got lots of experiance with em. I raised 5 at a time and let em go out at como :)

It must be the day for critters.  Got a phone call from my daughter tonight and she said there was a bat in the house!  She left the house and by the time the rest of us got there we couldn't find it.  So I have a bat in my house.  Yikes!

We had tennis rackets, fishing nets, blankets and other weapons ready but can't find it!

Keeping with subject, I had a mouse hang out between my bare feet while I was talking with a neighbor about my new car.  It hung out there for about a minute until my neighbor finally said WTF IS THAT!!! 

I would have stomped on it, like at work, but with bare feet that would be gross if it busted open.
