It was a beautiful house listing with lovely photos of the house. But out in the backyard, clearly visible through the window, are two dogs going at it.
we are headed to the state fair tomorrow-Saturday-anyone else going? maybe see you there.
Â
FYI: we got 4 FREE tickets to the State Fair! supposedly ALL of the St Paul librariesrecieved tickets to GIVE AWAY to patrons. so go to your St Paul library and when checking out books ASK if they have any tickets left to the state fair. :) COOL! I didn't have to ask, they offered 4 to us - they had lots left at the time-at the Riverview location on George St at Humbolt yesterday.
Leave your ceiling fans on. Bats have trouble seeing them, then "THUMP".
lol. my grandparents' house up on the north shore has a problem with flies living in the upstairs. i took great pleasure one night whilst trying to get to sleep over the buzzing of one of the little buggers hearing it thump against the wall ad then hitting the floor.
on that happy note, time to change over to a rant:
my car's water pump died back in january. had it replaced. wednesday nite, i came home from work and discovered an incredibly strong coolant aroma, and a puddle of coolant under the car. i'm thinking the water pump again. so we take it in, first off, they found out i was 500 miles over the 12/12 warranty on the pump. shit! they ended up taking it apart to a point where they could change the pump, only t find that its not the pump, its actualy the head gasket. (i have a funny feeling this was the problem in january too, because the aroma of warm coolant never really went away).
looks like its new vehicle time over here too. ugh!!!! oh well. i've been wanting an suv for a while. looks like now might well be the time for it!
Is that blown head gasket in you Stang? My bro had the same problem with his Stang. It's now sitting in a barn in Wisconsin wasting away. I had to get rid of my Grand Prix for the same reason. You see that bright white smoke billowing up from under the hood, you pretty much know it's your car taking it's last breath. :-(

We're just going for the Floyd laser show at night. We need to move my Sis' family tomorrow first.
I went to Kitch's original link for the house for sale ad to show my daughters, and they've put the picture back up but with the dogs blurred out! Kind of like the Kennedy cousin trial and the blue dot in front of the plaintiff's face. lol
I was at the fair last night too but didnt go to the lazer show- and lines where too long at both Marthas cookies last night wow! hundreds in line!Â
Heard they had to turn people away for the lazer show...did you get to see it CM?
and even though Milk was $1 at one end of the fair (which the chocolate milk was good)...the water was still FREE at the other end of the fair (Hey Culligan Man?)!!!Â
Â
the giant slide is $2!!!
cheese curds were $4!!!
Ye Old Mill is $2.50 per person no matter age now!!!
Yes, I'm now working in the same department as MM down at Ecolab. So I'm actually working right behind Ma Press now. Got myself a regular 9 to 5 job. I did find out though that I would have likely moved up into management at Eddie Bauer. Just that Ecolab got to me first. :)
I use a vacation day to spend $200 on crappy food, games and rides. And I'm always paranoid I'm gonna lose the boys, because they never pay attention to where Scribe and I are or where we're going.
Just wait until you hear what I have to say about Christmas.
Well forget about doing anything popular and fun ever again. That's the way of a democracy and I don't see it changing soon. The trick is to get to experience the cool things B4 they're popular and over priced.
well as for our car saga, we were debating a used explorer/mountaineer/durango. so looking up on the internet, the ones that we were willing to pay the price for had way too many miles on them and they were too old. so we bought a brand new kia optima instead. the 10/100 powertrain and 5/60 bumper to bumper warranties kinda grabbed us.
the haggling over the price was easy too. we walked in, found one we liked. told the salesman we wanted it, the mystique was the trade-in for it, and we didn't want to pay more than 15 grand for it. he kinda stammered about that until tc told him that they had 19 in inventory, it was the end of the model year, and they probably didn't want to keep them in that inventory much longer. didn't take long for a manager to get us an acceptable deal :)
Pictures great for the price. And it fits in the cabinet (barely). With the wires, I've got zero space in the back/front, and about 1/2 inch on each side.
Here's what I would get if I was in your shoes ESD.Â

Thanks man that looks sweet.
This would probably be a decent choice too, in the $200 range.

I agree. Olympus makes a good camera, I've owned a D-460 zoom for a couple years now, it's been a great camera.
Well well.... hello all :)
sorry MM, I think something got it, Andy went over there yesterday and said it was gone :(

When photographing your house for sale, double-check the pictures. (3rd pic)
Â
Damn, Kitch, that's hilarious!
Well they're quick to fix their errors. It says "Page Not Available"
So what was so funny?
It was a beautiful house listing with lovely photos of the house. But out in the backyard, clearly visible through the window, are two dogs going at it.
hahahaha
It got listed on FARK...it might have slammed the bandwidth...
too funny! I wish the photo was still up so we could all have a good laugh at it.

haven't had the stang since december.
Somebody's getting married.
LOL! That's exactly right. He won't even see a Stang again until he hits his mid-life crisis.

Well hello everyone!!!
Things have been pretty busy both at home and work. But I wanted to say hello to everyone. See what was happening:)
We are going to the fair tomorrow, whole family, in laws, grandparents and all! Should be a blast:)Â
I love summer but I think this is the first time I am really looking forward to winter time. I cant wait for the hunt to begin:)
Â
IF they blurred it out...it must be REAL!!!!
Â
hahahahahha

I just finished the first two of 27 scenes to my short animated movie talk about labor intensive.

Congrats TMK I think you are better off there, at least you are out of retail.
Do you get weekends off now.
I agree esd. much better for Tmk, and me too ;)
Â
Â
God I hate the fair!
I use a vacation day to spend $200 on crappy food, games and rides. And I'm always paranoid I'm gonna lose the boys, because they never pay attention to where Scribe and I are or where we're going.
Just wait until you hear what I have to say about Christmas.
:-)
Vacation day? Dude, it's Sunday.
I'd have to agree with THX, but with me its move of a love/hate thing. I enjoy going to the fair, but hate that everything's overpriced.
...but hate that everything's overpriced.

I'm working on it....
I got a really nice prize, a spot picked out, and a few clues written

NOPE!!!
I got it made somewhere else....

Congrats, ares & tc. Buying a new car is always fun.
Well kind of.
I like our new van, but I hate spending the money.
I got that TV over the weekend.
