Good Evening!

Sorry we missed the gathering at ares and TCs place.

We had a 3 season porch added to our place up north.  The work the contractor is doing is just about done.  Good thing cuz our check book is running low too.

$10,000 medallion money would come in very handy!  How long is it now till the WC hunt?

Digger Dawg - hope your wait is over soon.

And how the heck did the weekend pass by so quickly?!?!?!  UGH!!!!!!

Yes, Thanks Ares and TC for your wonderful hosting.  Didn't really watch the game. I don't really understand it anyway but it was nice meeting more of the crew.  Little by little I won't be as confused.

Hey Kitch!  My daughters got that house on Summit!  They're so excited!  They bid low hoping the guy would counter no higher than they could afford and he took their first offer!  Wouldn't have found it without you.  I'll have to take you to lunch or something.  Thanks!

Did you know that Kitch found it for me?  Isn't that a hoot?  I posted in here looking for some rentals someone might know of, and he knew about this place, so they were able to get it before it went on the market.  I'm so happy for them.  One of the daughters has a four year old son and didn't think she'd ever be able to afford a house.

Are you a neighbor too Kitch?  Or do you go to the party with your in-laws?  I know, it's nice to be near relatives.

Hey!  Did I just hear on the news that Kerry is going to be in SSP this week?  Where's he going.......the Cro??

Maybe I heard wrong.  Looked at kare11.com and it says that Elizabeth Edwards is going to be in the Twin Cities.  I could have sworn they said SSP though.

I am almost done with the web site it will have the cooler kid movie on one page and some of my Illustrations on another page. I might get it up and running tomorrow if all goes well. One of my teachers is trying to talk me into teaching at Brown College when I graduate, it would mean I would have to continue school to get my Bachelor's degree in graphic design but the school would pay for it.

We're still around Me2. Baby Bella has definitely 'dropped'. We have an appt this morning at 9am with the baby doc so we will have more news after that. Meanwhile i've been trying to sleep... caught one hell of a cold / flu virus over the weekend that's turned into a sinus infection. UGH! Thank goodness for drugs... don't know what I would do without antibiotics, especially right now.

Thats great ESD! school is spendy so when someone else is willing to pay for it, it's always a good thing :) we find out this weekend if we are gonna move soon, gordy got a job offer for a new restaraunt out by cambridge, he wants gordy to design the kitchen and then run it once it's built :) we are ordering a roll off dumster today so I can get the house cleaned out to sell. anyone know someone cheaper than vasko?? it's gonna cost us about $300.00 for a 20'. we found a couple places out in Braham and oglvie that we are gonna go check out on saturday, places are much cheaper out there and you get acreage with it :)

Thanks CM.  They've already suggested having Christmas there, but my sister's large family joins us for Christmas too and I don't think there'd be room.  And I don't want to have to tell them their on their own.  I'm kind of their mommy too as their mom died 20 years ago.  But there will be a party!

LL...what a great area to live!  Wide open spaces.  And won't it be fun doing a clean sweep of the old place?

What's going on here!  New houses, new cars, new jobs, new porches, new babies and a wedding!  We sure are blessed!  Maybe this is the year!

OT---I'm amazed that she was able to sneak in and get that house!! I know a lot of people looking for homes in that area and almost everyhouse on that block was sold by word of mouth. Heck the only reason I wanted to list my house on the open market was because I thought I could take advantage of it....hoping for a bidding war....

I was right and sold it in one day....

I heard that house had lot of people watching it and asking about it....The older couple to the South are two of the BEST neighbors you could ever have!!

(I don't live on summit anymore---I'm up on 17th)

The couple to the south live in MY HOUSE!  We looked at that house when we were expecting #7 and had outgrown our old house.  I loved the house, but it was selling for $24,000 and that was too expensive for us in those days.  lol  And they are the ones who bought MY HOUSE!!  :)

The seller did tell us that he'd had a lot of neighbors come through.  I'm still amazed he took the first offer.  They bid low hoping his counter offer would still be something they could afford.  He is putting in a new dishwasher and we told him that my son is a plumber and he could do that.  So last night when we went over with the offer everything was finished except for the dishwasher hook-up.  At that point I thought it looked good for the home team.  He didn't do it because he was going to sell it to the daughters!

BTW, my deleted message was basically this message minus one sentence.
