I've developed a new appreciation for water-LOTSof water. We go thru a couple cases of spring water a week. Sat thru a double header yesterday from 4:00 to 8:30...glad I wasn't out on that field.
and you know it was bad for me when i left the caffeine sit in favor of the water, given that i got 5 hours of sleep sunday nite too!

Sarah is feeling better-doctor said she will not feel well for a couple more days. This has lasted over 8 days! Whitney had to go in for an appt. today that was made over a month ago-so I have had my fill of hospitals and doctors offices!

We're heading north tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully we'll beat some traffic out of the cement jungle.
I don't even want to think about traffic coming back on Sunday.
We'll be watching fireworks over Sturgeon Lake at dusk on the 4th.
Hopefully we'll be back early enough on Sunday to see the last night of the fireworks from the Taste.
There's been talk of some possible terrorism on the 4th. I pray that's all talk and no action!

I'm not. I've taken too many days early this year. Gotta save some for later.

i'm taking friday this week, a couple of days in august (or maybe surrounding labor day) to help my brother build his garage, definitely the 16th of august, for my cpr renewal class, the week between christmas and new year's just because, and the 2 weeks for the medallion hunt. at least thats what i've got scheduled at the moment anyway.

It sucks having to use vacation days to do that stuff. I've wasted two weeks this year working on my porch & my Aunt's deck. Gotta do it though.
::sigh::
oh, i don't have to do it. i'm just choosing to. besides i've got like 5 weeks and a day accrued, which puts me dangerously close to the 6 week maximum. i don't wanna get that close to it.
I had to do it.
I couldn't not help my Aunt out and my porch was gonna fall down if I left it for another year. :-)
I'm taking Friday off! Yay!

I think if someone could set up a good vacation package for mommies, they'd be a very rich person.
I'll be working a bit on the 4th, and some this week. Also working on a big paper. Anyone want to join me?

We get Friday off as a holiday!
We're off now until Monday as I took a half day vacation today.
The big vacation for mommies comes about the time they leave the nest and go off on their own. Before that it's just if someone wonderful volunteers for a weekend or something.
