I can not believe the lack of proper English that is present here. Some of the statements look as though they came from a second grade class. Do not send messages if you cannot spell, puncuate, or use correct symantics, you would be doing us all a favor.

All I'm saying is beware of web jockeys who don't bother to even read the clues and just ask questions until they get a chance to dig. I'm not denying the "Minnesota Nice" feeling of sharing.

AMD, no Annapolis is on the far side of the park from the High Bridge, down the sledding hill. there's a backstop on the corner of Annapolis and Cherokee Rd. (is it Cherokee RD?)

B.J. Mack -near a line of double division, most likely just locates the park. Usually clues that early are for a general area.

Fore means front. does this mean in front of a bathroom, a park bench, or the front of the park whereever that is.

I'm off to CP to dig and dig to the next day until I find the stupid thing and the Water Cooler Crew will be the first to know if I found it(maybe not the first but after I tell the PP)

Matt, well if someone's going about the hunt that way, they're wooses. but hey, the power of technology is in their favor, I guess. The rest of us like to get into the action (even if I am stuck at work for a little while longer)!

Sue Bee,

The running path goes along Cherokee. From the running path on the North side of the bathroom you can see the 777, cathedral, smoke stack, and pyramids.

Mon, 02/02/1998 - 4:26 PM Permalink

Mr. Tomski, even better, is woos even a word? It looks pretty funny in writing. You gotta love slang. Oh well.

Mon, 02/02/1998 - 4:27 PM Permalink
Matt Watters

wooses translates into Wusses.

Everyone needs to lighten up and have fun. Not sitting in front of your pc's and critizing everyones abillity to communicate at the same level as everyone else. :o)

The word wooses can be found in #5025

So what's a better way to spell woos? Wus? No, that doesn't work. I'm trying to say they're wimps if they don't dig until the last second and get all their info from the water cooler. They also run the risk of it being found before they even put shovel to ice.

Mon, 02/02/1998 - 4:29 PM Permalink

What does wusses mean?

Mon, 02/02/1998 - 4:29 PM Permalink

Fore could also be forest, has anybody looked in the woods behind the tennis court.

Mon, 02/02/1998 - 4:33 PM Permalink
SueBee

Andy - a wus (the vowel sounds like woof, a dog barking) is a slang term for a wimp, a baby, a weenie, if you will.

Kat, Clue #1 (the lucky one)

777 is the address on the side of the bathrooms

Mon, 02/02/1998 - 4:34 PM Permalink
Matt Watters

777 is, as I hear, a number on the door of one of the bathrooms at C.P.

The 777 refers to the numbers on the bathroom buildings that most take to be the 3 pyramids of clue #8. 777 is a "lucky" number because you win jackpots in slot machines with 777. The word lucky is from clue #1. It's a stretch, IMHO (in my humble opinion).

SueBee: It is just way to easy to get attention on these stupid chatlines. I completely stopped conversation and everybody was talking to me. You guys are a bunch of low-life losers who cannot spell. Oh, I almost forgot, good luck to everyone! I hope you find it, but the most important thing is to practice safe hunting. Wear a condom!!!!!!!!!

Mon, 02/02/1998 - 4:38 PM Permalink
AMD

SueBee, 777 is refered to in clue #1.

Mon, 02/02/1998 - 4:41 PM Permalink
SueBee

Well, dear Andy, since you are here talking too, that makes you a low life loser too now doesn't it? If you think it's so stupid, why are you here?

Mon, 02/02/1998 - 4:41 PM Permalink
AMD

Andy, maybe you would have better luck at a spellig bee. You could win a scholorship that would pay your way through manners school.

Mon, 02/02/1998 - 4:42 PM Permalink

Oh yeah!!!!!!! If anyone would like to talk to me directly, my number is 647-1816.

BH, fore is a multi purpose prefix meaning before or in front of. There are many words that begin with fore, so, no offense, but if it's a clue, it probably wasn't meant in that way.
