I doubt it will be found at Cherokee, the snow is too packed in,

I broke one of my metal shovels trying to get through

Thanks Bevis. By the way, do you know how the Mounds peeople are connecting Clue 9? Is it Cherry Street?

I tend to think that "Hight" is not the answer to the question to "High Ground" If that is even a question at all.?

Thanks, Nat!!! Out looking at new suits today??? How ya been? Nobody's buying your "snowball" theory. But, thass otay. It's a nice pretty idea, and who knows??? You many end up laughing last!!!

Can't believe that people are still at Mounds. It doesn't take that much imagination to find Cherokee in today's clue.

fair enough...the "double division" could just be a park pointer.

But clue seven says, "the medallion that promises lots of dough Is near a line of double division."

It doesn't hint at the park, it hint's at the medallion location.

Who knows? Just got to go hack at the snow and ice!

If you're still near the sacred mounds

The time would best be spent at home

At least you're losing some pounds

Chopping the snow into foam

...someone can do better I know...

Just additional deranged thoughts floating aimlessly about this brain that is only marginally bigger than a no-see-ums. Thass all!!!

Beev, best be cranking it up... You're letting me down kiddo and not coming on with the funnies!!

Did everyone leave for the park? I can't go till later tonight. I have to go chair a committee. Do you believe it? Everything seems to be related to clues this time of year.

Think it would be nice if Water Cooler people had name tags or something to identify themselves at the park...It would be fun to see who everyone is...makes people more accountable too.

BJ, i'm only saying this as you, and I think Mac, got me where I am today, else I would not be saying it.

BJ... COOL THY JETS AND QUIT LOOKING FOR MORE. YOU ARE 100% AMUNDO CORRECT ABOUT Annapolis being double division and the Med being near it. Only question is HOW near. In past clues, past years, "near" has been one or two blocks.

Look, buster. You were smart enuff to be one of the first to think/guess/figure out Cherokee in the first place (two firsts!!! LOL!!!), so direct those xcellent gray cells of your elsewhere!!!

Keep up the good work and let the dead horse (one of them) RIP!!!!

Allie Go...What an idea! Anyone game?

Mon, 02/02/1998 - 6:04 PM Permalink

Thanks gs2! Good point on the "near"-ness of things in their clues.

I'm headed out there. I'm wearing a blue ITHACA COLLEGE hat and a blue/green jacket if any Water Cooler folks want to say hi. I also have a flashlight with a radio on it.

Best of luck to all!

Allie, that is one of the neatest, bestest ideas to hit - what I'm calling "Cherokee Cooler Club"!!! Maybe if we sweet talk Casey... maybe we can talk to the Press and see if we can't get them for next year!!!! That would be such a trip... ONly that PITA "Joe Of A Gazzillion Names" would have to be included, as well as his ilk, too.

(sigh).

that puts a big damper on it for moi.

Good luck, BJ!!! I do, however, think your time would be better spent resting, seeing tonite's clue and then going out... but to each their own!!!

GO, BJ!!!

Allie, you've gotten the creative marketing juices flowing in me!!! Hats, jackets, name tags, stuff like that!!! All logoed with an ugly guy with his mouth open!!! We could use CC as letters for Cooler Club!!!

The Press would make enuff each year to DOUBLE (LOL!) their amount of the prize!!!

Just a little information about the big green chair at the foot of the high bridge...There is also one in Frogtown put out by the block club. It is supposed to represent the community coming together to sit and talk to problem solve. I understand the first one was in St. Louis, MO or somewhere.

Folks, it would really help us *all* if when the server is having a hard time digesting all it's fed (and I know I'd have a prob if I was fed nothing but bullpucky 24 hours a day) and double posts something that you only meant to post *once*, please, please *please* delete one of the posts to make room and ease the poor server's job. It will be happier, and we will too!!!! THANKS!

Allan Thorn Is the Chairman of the Stadium funding Commission. I'm really surprised that no one has figured that out. What's more, traipse is defined as walking, and guess what, there are both walking paths and side walks at Mounds. Everyone should go there right now! I agree with Cake Girl!!! Hurry or I will find it!Go!
