New Daddy, Obsolete means no longer being used. Do you know of anything that is not working. Could it be the water foutain? Obsolete is another meaning for Fore.
Andy Brunn shut up your dumb you just want attention we feel for you Andy you are pretty sad i feel sorry for you and your ways.So what if i cannot spell as good as you and bye the way why do you need so much attention does your mom and dad neglect you?Good luck people!!!GO MOUNDS PARK!
Just got home, read through the last couple hundred postings, the server is awfully slow. Could someone be specific about where the walking/jogging path is? Usually in city parks it's marked but didn't see any signs.
Hey guys I'm back, and I believe I was the first one to say that 777 had some sort of affiliation w/that first clue. Also, if you take the word lots from clue 2 line 2 you could make slot, see the connection? I just drove by the big green chair across from the high bridge, and there are about 10 peopleg searchin for the med. Is that even a park? Is it part of CP???
I hope it isn't found until I get there! I've been digging up cherokee park since the third clue. I am probably one of the main causes of all the snow removal *laughing* ...My kids and I deserve it so bad...we've spent at least six hours a day out there...
I just have to say about this that it better not be the same way that it was last year. It was pointing to one place and then it was found somewhere completly different. But I'm glad that this year I know where it is. Well, what park it is in anyway. I just hope that I'm the one that is going to find it!!
Terry, the joggin path runs parallel with Cherokee Rd. If you stand by the bathrooms you can see where it is dug up and then you can follow from there.
Michael, we all deserve to find it. We have been hunting for over 25 years and even had the earmuffs in our hands when it was down at the Capitol Mall but missed the connection. It is really luck if you happen to find it.
I know a couple people who work at the paper. No one knows anything except the guy who plants it and the clue writer. Most people down there don't even know who writes the clues.
AMD: I don't think so, but there's really no use looking there because that place is just too small-it'd get dug up in a minute if anymore people went down there. Well, off to Cherokee!
I think they put the medalian in later, like after the first 8 - 10 clues. I mean if you think about it, if someone found it right away, that would take away all of the fun of looking for it. You know what I mean? Besides, there was one year that my dad was out looking for it and he look around ever single one of the poles that were at the park and then a couple of days later it was suddenly found there. I guess they would have to make it look like they are looking for the medalian and then just plant it somewhere. I am tempted to just go out there and sit there all night to see if someone comes and does that. You never know I guess.
Poop is back and I have lots of ideas so everyone check out the entry #4070 and you'll know what I mean! The Civic Center sounds the best to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No, no, no...the commitee thing is just to lead you to the CHAIRPERSON which if you look at the first part sounds like CHER and then at the begining it talks about opening a door. You would need a key for that. Put those together and you have CHERIKEE (however it may be spelt).
The medallions site is known during the summer so that the clues can be made plenty in advance.... then they just go out after they are sure that it has snowed and will snow again to cover the spot and they hide it... there is no set day they do it on
It is in Cherokee for sure because in clue #9 it says someone that runs a comitee-a chairman.and to unlock the door-a key.put them together and get Cherokee.
The only thing that I don't like is when everyone was out at Mounds Park looking for it, there were people going over the edge of the cliff's looking for it, there were people going up on the old Indian Mounds looking for it and other places like that. THEY'RE NOT GOING TO PUT IT ANYWHERE LIKE THAT!!! I wish some of these people would get that into their heads. It's not going to be put anywhere where people could get hurt, it's not going to be on private property or anyother places like that. Some of the treasure hunters have to use their heads!!
This is another meaning for fore.
1 obsolete : at an earlier time or period
What would an earlier time or period have to do with it?
You could be on to something AMD. Are there any historical plaques at CP??
NW No offences and you are correct. Just was trying more or less for feed back HEH heh. So then I happen to still think that Wood and Water
could possible be a last name. What do you think?

DOES ANYONE THINK THAT CLUE 9 IS JUST TELL US THAT ITS AT CHEROKEE PARK.
TO UNLOCK THE DOOR AND BE AT THE FORE, MAYBE MEANING YOU NEED A KEY TO UNLOCK THE DOOR.
AND
THINK OF A PERSON WHO RUNS A COMMITTE, MEANING CHAIRMEN,
CHAIR+KEY=CHEROKEE
Are the tennis courts being used in the summer?
Andy Brunn shut up your dumb you just want attention we feel for you Andy you are pretty sad i feel sorry for you and your ways.So what if i cannot spell as good as you and bye the way why do you need so much attention does your mom and dad neglect you?Good luck people!!!GO MOUNDS PARK!

I will see you there.

See you there Michael, if I don't find it I hope you and your kids do!
Last one there is a rotten egg!

someone probably stepped on it...now we'll have to dig extra harder to find it!!
I was there with you 25 years ago! Some people say they plant it late in the game so it isn't found right away. What do you think?
Is anyone gonna answer my ? Is the place where the big green chair is part of CP??
I was there with you 25 years ago! Some people say they plant it late in the game so it isn't found right away. What do you think?
no
I actually think it's planted before the first clue.
HOW CAN THEY PLANT IT LATE IN THE GAME WHEN EVERYONE IS OUT SEARCHING FOR IT? SOMEONE WILL SEE THEM!
Itsinmypocket now, My guess is no. But it is public ground which is fair play. Is there a plack that might give an overview of the chair down there?
BJ!! Just caught your name... I'm sloggin' thru 'massages' and will catch up shortly!!!
I read somewhere that the medallion is hidden 10-14 days before the first clue.
Itsinmypocket: The land and the large green chair are private property, and are in no way connected to Cherokee Park or the City of St. Paul.
Watch out for those protective tree rats.

It could be by a handecaped sign becuse it shows a guy in a chair and that leads up to a chairman which leads to a committe
It could be up your ass too!!!
Poop is back and I have lots of ideas so everyone check out the entry #4070 and you'll know what I mean! The Civic Center sounds the best to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have herd that too. I don't think any body cares to here that though.
Sounds way too discouraging

Just A Thought, Was Out At CP Yesterday And Noticed
From The Annapolis End You Could See Highland Park,
Look For High Ground?? Hmmm
Robyn, I can make sence to that.
The medallions site is known during the summer so that the clues can be made plenty in advance.... then they just go out after they are sure that it has snowed and will snow again to cover the spot and they hide it... there is no set day they do it on
Is anyone still out at Mounds these days? Does anyone know?
So how is cherokee lookin lately? torn up? sheer ice?
I wonder what the madallion tastes like? Yummy I bet.
There's still a lot of people at MOunds
I was so sure it was at Highland but now I'm convinst it's at Cherokee.
It is in Cherokee for sure because in clue #9 it says someone that runs a comitee-a chairman.and to unlock the door-a key.put them together and get Cherokee.
I'm math-challenged. What's "C" in Roman numerals????
MJ Frog, good thought. But the "high ground" could just refer to the fact that CP is high on the bluff, on the high end of the High Bridge.
I believe it's near Annapolis, because of the "double division" clue. You also need to see the three pyramids rising over the snow.
I'll be out there soon!!!
