Green thats OK this year since there are only Two Mouseketeers it splits evenly LOL now Cheryl get out there and make us proud:) As for Karen you seem to have almost the same words to say it's over as Becky from earlier. Whatever!!!!
Fortune: No. Cheryl's not got her dog trained too well yet. *She's* a better nose than that hound!!!
BW, C: don't like the mousecat-eers bit. Leaves C out. "The Three Med-caters" I like better. We're gonna knock them dead next year!!!! Please supply names.
Ian: See if Sax is still around... and ask him what I pulled last nite... LOL!! God could speak here and I woulnd't believe it was him. Been there, done it. Yup!
The hot-line for the Treasure Hunt is 228-2124, on which the voice says the hot-line will be "immediately" updated once the medallion is turned in.
At 8:32 I called, and the recording said the medallions has NOT been found.
It appears that there is either a pure knave working here, or the recording has not been updated (which would be strange given that it is to be "immediately" updated).
I love the park, but the place is looking pretty disgusting. I don't know how it's ever going to recover. (I am biased, since I live near)
In the Circle, the garden club does plant flowers, not sure they are roses. Before roads re-worked, used to be roses in a triangle that's not there any more....
Cherokee does run east of Smith. It begins (or ends) at Ohio Street, which is about four blocks east of Smith Avenue. The boulevard from Ohio to Smith may or may not be part of Cherokee Park; as kids we considered it part of the park. Cherokee curves to the northwest, crossing Smith near the binocs, then becomes a north-south street at about King Street. If you take a right on Baker, you end up on Cherokee Heights Blvd. which runs through the largest portion of Cherokee Park.
Cheryl, I looked along the railing, under and around the benches, in and around the bushes, under the overlook, etc. If I didn't find it, it was packed under snow.
just called 228-2124 and it said it wasn't found yet. hey are you guys going as a group. i have looked for many years but not at night, sounds a little scarey.
g-g-giddyup...I've been online more than I have been to CP. Anyone else waiting for the next clue??? Thinking about going out at 4am b-4 work. Any truth to rumours??????????????????????
Just called the line 9:00 (228-2124) - no winner. Going out later myself. People, have a little common courtesy when posting stupid messages about it being found.
FortuneHunter: Would you be willing to buy some "Cooler Club" or "Club Cooler" stuff, like hats, buttons, shirts, etc., that said you're a member of this elite club????? Maybe like with a logo that that has PPMCC - "Pioneer Press Medallion Cooler Club" - and that 'fat-mouthed' guy????
If so, say so loud and clear hear!! It's an idea that's being discussed around 'this' cooler and we're trying to get some steam generated for it. Things are starting to get 'hot' but we need all the steam we can generate!!! :)
Been checking mail. Nada.
Zap me, I'll go off line and you can call me on the mobile. Then you'll still be on with the clues/whatever.

A. Metal....other side of Smith statement: because you can see the domes, water / woods, etc....
Ian, if it don't come from Casey, I ignore it. Yup. You got it. You bettcha.
I checkd out the scenic overlook pretty good the other day. The clues did fit, but what about three pyramids? That wouldnt seem to fit.
Another bad joke...some people's kids.
Is there another Cherokke past Smith Cheryl?
Ian: See if Sax is still around... and ask him what I pulled last nite... LOL!! God could speak here and I woulnd't believe it was him. Been there, done it. Yup!
3 P: Wanted to take a closer look maybe.....Galtier is pyramidial (he,he) at the top and the 1 bldg looked that way too as I drove home tonight.....
Still not getting you, C.... :(

If its there, I'll be cursing to high hell. I musta spent an hour or more going through just that little part Cheryl.
Hi everyone, how's it going?
High is the other reason I like it :)
Cheryl, what flowers do they have there in the summer months?
whats the best time to go looking? Wouldn't mind meeting up with some of you!! Y'all seem like a nice crew.
Going out to CP later, every time I go there I am convinced I am going to find that damn thing. . . to no avail.
What about "rosebud" in Clue #3, I just don't get it.
It has to be Cherokee, but I'm getting a little tired of that park.
THAT'S NOT CASEY, NO PICTURE !!
What is a snow dome? Where were they in the park?

Any place you didn't look?????:)

Hey Green and Cheryl how about the Three Planeteers? Just a thought.
Take good lights, it's very dark.
This crap happens every year, once the park has been decided.

Rumors suck and hey mike you know a snowdome one of those little knick-knacks you shake.

Snow dome - you know. Those little plastic things with water and fake snow in them. You shake them up and watch the snow fall.
CC on that Toner. People need to show a little respect to people with frostbitten extremities!!!!!
Don't think the medallion is "taped" to a snow dome. I don't think tape could hold in snow, ice, water, etc.
Just got back from Cherokee. This is a public service announcement: THE MEDALLION IS NOT UNDERGROUND! DON'T TEAR UP THE SOIL!
BW, 3 planeteers is Great...
