It's time for the Medallion Hunt! The first clue will appear on PioneerPlanet just after midnight Saturday, Jan. 22. Come back here to compare notes with other treasure seekers, but be certain you read the rules on the Planet's Winter Carnival page.
This message board has really become a sham. Last year it was a collection of serious hunters exchanging ideas, and now it is a bunch if people spouting off at the
mouth. The serious hunters (ones who actually offered some insight) are no longer posting, and you have people begging for information. For crying out loud, go visit
a few parks, figure some of the clues out, post your insight, and lets have a discussion rather than a boy meets girl and flaming session.
Thanks Spencer, I have been out there too. I think Newell because of "look well in the New" and the KS95 sign, but BC looks good, however that is a big park to
cover. If you look at clue 7 from 95 and go out there and take a gander around you can line some stuff up. However you can do that in Newell as well.
Has anyone thought of Guatamala??? I think clue 2 refers to it...it says "The medallion will be found by a latino, he will collect all of the greeno, if you want a chance
at the moola, go to Guatamala!"

Thanks, Columbus. Last year's group was much older and much wiser. There was a great amount of consideration and respect for each other. They were the
thinkers and they were quick. I think they all have gotten bored with this group. I really miss the regulars from last year. Well, I hope I see them all out within the next
week. As an aside, I really do appreciate those postings from those people who haven't lost site. Good luck to you all.
...but then again it might be in Bermuda...think about clue 5...it says "If you want the whole shabangle, go to the Bermuda triangle, the medallion is at the Hyatt
Regency hotel in the womens bathroom in the lobby. When you get there ask for Juan...he is the janitor."
cloumbs the last time it was in newell, it took after four clues after finding out the park was newell to find the madalion , plus this is the 150 aniversiy of the press
Thanks for your support Allie. I think last year we all figured out which park it was in by Friday night and kept digging until it was found. I miss the regulars too. They
were posting at the beginning of the hunt, butthe flaming and foul language, and people looking for free advice really turned them off.
Columbus and AllieGo you are the type of people who just came here to get other peoples ideas...it is obvious you have none of your own...if ya don't like it get out
of here. I have an idea...clue number 6 refers to Cleveland...it says "The medallion is in Cleveland...wink wink."
Personally, I think clue #7 gives you a street name, and there's only one park on that street, Conway Heights. I went out there today and there is a library in the park
as well as sledding. No golf course but plenty of softball, hockey, basketball, and tennis as well as a scoreboard. It is near Old Hudson Rd and on Wilson (which I
believe to be the answer to today's clue). Its never been hidden there before. The only question is how to fit in 9, 5 & 4. It is halfway between 94 & 5, but I'm not
Newell park is in the Midway area. Battle Creek is on the east side of St. Paul off of Lower Afton Road. I haven't given Merriam Park much thought, but I am
probably going to head there tonight to put together some of the clues.
The posts by Dingdong are what I am talking about!!!!!
I'm new to the medallion hunt, but my thoughts on the 9-5-4 clue relates to HP in that there is an area bordered by 1) a 9 hole golf course to the east 2) 5 softball
fields to the north 3) bus #4 to the west (i.e. somewhere a 4) and 4) Edgcumbe to the south (i.e. "hEDGE?). What are your thoughts?
