It's time for the Medallion Hunt! The first clue will appear on PioneerPlanet just after midnight Saturday, Jan. 22. Come back here to compare notes with other treasure seekers, but be certain you read the rules on the Planet's Winter Carnival page.

My mom said something yesterday about two medallions. But, wouldn't that be misleading? They said you would win 10,000. Not split it with the other medallion
finder. But, I guess that could be a typo. Is there anyone who thinks it isn't at Conway? Tell me how your clues lead elswhere.
Planes....Where 2 or more lines come together...water tower...sun ray peaks....3m sign... map it out mabey thats it "x" marks the spot...no couldn't be that easy..or
Hey JAMMIN- I thought about the numbers and geometric idea myself... maybe they refer to numbers on compass rose... 9=090 degrees which is EAST... 5=050

Park Digger....we don't have a whole lot of rocket scientists in Minnesota..so lose the geometric theory..lol One interesting loop is that the library does not belong to
Conway at all. Some girl that works there was bitching about everyone being around there because she couldn't move her car...it is just called St. Paul Public
Whats up with the "seeing a thing twice" would they repeat about the trans..peak clue. I doubt it. How about Howard street that ends at Conway and has caldusack
CalltheChiro- You don't have to be a rocket scientist to know about those numbers,, anyone that has taken a basic geometry class should know that... No offense.
Park Digger..They just don't expect people to have to get technical with a shovel...you're reading way too much into the clues people..the latest one is not very
worthy, but the last one will at least put everyone in the general vicinity
HPGirl is actually posting intelligent information. I like it. We think alike! You are right, we have seen many references to hunting in the clues. And of course, if we
put two and two together, we can conclude that its in a wooded area. Where else would a person "hunt" his/her "quarry." Second, we have seen numerous
references to objects in the sky -- a red one and planes, for example. How about looking up! Who says the medallion is on the ground. Be an iconoclast and search
high! We must not surrender to a literal interpretation of "Public ground." After all, how literal are the clues? Just my thoughts :)

everyone.
Highland seekers, what is your explaination for Clue 10's last line.
Lu, I have to work tomorrow at 7am so I thought I better hit the sack. No one wants a nurse that hasn't had any sleep. (ha-ha). I'll hit it again after work tomorrow.
I searched every tree and sign in Conway park for any sign that someone had been there. I don't think it's up high but I didn't check the building just the trees and
The red sign may refer to the big glowing number one on the first national bank building in downtown st paul, which can be seen from highland park...i am in st
They dont hide the medallion in trees or up high anymore ...they dont want people climbing and falling out of trees and such....its going to be pretty much at eye level

Hey Chaz D – Someone about 50-100 posts ago mentioned seeing an ice "ball" up in a tree! Who knows? That would rule out all of us "short" people under 8'-11"
though...I'm thinking about letting the wife sleep and go take a look. Good luck (but not too much ;-)...) to all.
I decided not to go out tonight...i am so tired...by the time i got to conway i bet it would have been found already. might wake up early and go look - goodnight
okay anyone who is serious about the hunt and has been to conway do you think any of the past clues give an even partially specific indication where it is at, because
I have ideas but I could also end up digging until the corns in my bunions flare up.

If it's at Highland, where is the large red object high in the sky? If it's at Battle Creek, where is the water on high?
the "quarry you seek" which can mean a hunted animal or prey and the reference to hunting in the last clue may be significant...
so how does the first part of clue 9:Keep out an eye for water on high This could be an excellent clue, tie in?
