It's time for the Medallion Hunt! The first clue will appear on PioneerPlanet just after midnight Saturday, Jan. 22. Come back here to compare notes with other treasure seekers, but be certain you read the rules on the Planet's Winter Carnival page.

Good morning! I don't know about nayone else, but this new clue doesn't help me all that much!!! I don't think that the rinks are the same size, so that's out; seeing
two could mean that you have to see both peaks at Sunray, but they're not frozen! ugh!!!!!!!!!
The two hockey rinks look about the same size. The third ice rink is different, the one on the baseball diamond. But I'm game for any new thoughts in that direction.
They wouldn't put it in the ice rinks, and I was disappointed yesterday to see that people were putting holes in there and ruining it for the skaters. I would bet that it's
on that side of the park though, which was where we were concentrating on yesterday anyway! I'm sure that it has been thrown around a few times, it's just a matter
The hunters in my family are so tired. They left this morning still thinking it said planes, and not places. Isn't the whole place pretty frozen, though??? It's winter.
Everything is frozen!

definitions of place: a square or court in a city, a short narrow street, a particular area, a building or space devoted to a special purpose, a residence.
Drove by Conway otw to work. Television crews are there already. My question to any doubters: Why would the crews be there at 5am if the medallion is not???
Drove by Conway about 6:30a.m. and only about a dozen people there. They are still pretty scattered. T.V. crews still there and doing live feeds this morning, but
they wouldn't know when or where the medallion is found any more than we would. This mornings edition of the PP reads "places".
I wanna get off pc...and start searching by the ice rinks... north baseball field...3rd base line...between 3rd base and hockey rink...about 40 feet toward 3rd base
from north rink...there is a sign there...could be valuable...hehe
I just had a dream that the medalion was in a Toilet Paper tube (round/white, wrapped tight) It was found on the sidewalk, appearently after being kicked around for
My son played footbal there. Well, i'm not really sure about places but when I was out there yesterday I was focusing on and area where you could see all the
markers and the True Value Hardware sign. When I left I noticed that one of the houses on Conway street had a McDonalds sign in their window. I started thinking
Sly one - You were probably hungry. You can also eliminate the western part of the park because of the "peak", not "peaks". If you are looking for one peak you
either have to have the "peaks" lined up or have the Bradley apartments in the way. You can eliminate even more park this way. Your turn.

couldnt frozen also stand for something still as in the tennis courts?
could the fence backstops on the base ball fields be frozen planes? (isn't everything out there frozen?) there is one with the number 4 on it.
Hmm. He could be just trying to put people over to the correct side of the park. This thing has got to be in the ice for it not to be found.
Allie, Ouchie, Ace... Slog up... We've been noodling this since like 3:00 a.m.
Too, the hardcopy of the paper said "places," and the 'Planet reported "planes."
We're noodling this...
Do slog, lots of good noodling and ideas...
I don't mean in the rinks; I mean on the outside of them.

Any thoughts on a different park? I know that sounds ridiculous, but this park is down to nothing.
That park is so perfect...it's got to be right. Maybe someone picked up the medallion at some point.
Allie dont give up so easy....there are many of cunks to be crushed!!!:)CONWAY is the one!
Gina... Yes!!! The Como/Perry Park!
NOT!!!
No such park xists!
LMAO(little tired here)@chunks..:)
Okay, Ace. I know it is...just amazed by it not being found yet.

on that side of the park though, which was where we were concentrating on yesterday anyway! I'm sure that it has been thrown around a few times, it's just a matter
of someone being lucky enough to stumble upon it!
jp, I was woundering about that. I could have sworn before it said planes.
cold feet - it did! i printed it out at 11:30. were they trying to throw us off track for awhile?

northwest (orient) airlines flys frozen planes to frozen places on the frozen planet. just noodling. paper planes.
no longer planes...read clues again....changed from planes to places...just like paper says
has anyone found it yet???
Planet says no...but someone could be holding on to it...
Sly One, liked your dream!! My cousin in IL has been so caught up in hearing our daily clues that she dreamed it was at a race course in a stable.
Sly one - Coincedence? You have the dream about TP and I have to poop. LOLOLOL!!!
Well the sun is a rising and the hunt begins again!!!! see you all out there...HAPPY HUNTING!!!!!!!!!!!
Did everybody leave????
Seeker me - what's your take on "Places" I know the park very well. Son played soccer there.
amid means between or around. Places does not mean "object" rather a location. This eliminates most of the park.
My son played footbal there. Well, i'm not really sure about places but when I was out there yesterday I was focusing on and area where you could see all the

Extra Value Meal
