Yes, the medallion has been found, but there's still lots to talk about. Feel the need for more than virtual discussion? Then join the Re-Hash Bash, Sunday, Jan. 27, at noon at Merriam Park in St. Paul.

tide is pretty obvious...it just may be in one of those little boxes you get at the laundromat
What I like about Mounds vs. Cherokee is that Mounds actually has woods...not just trees. I also like that Holman Field is visible from there and of course there's tv/radio towers off in the distance.
PP has all kinds of promotional stuff starting this saturday night to monday night I think the next several clues will be bogus..ie look for a park with lots of grass
Obscure is much more fun - at least this early on. I have my tried and true simple explanations for stuff...and then the wild and wooly ones for fun. I believe the truth lies between.
Theory 1-Dunning A) A radio tower nearby B) "Tip" like on a concorde-Concordia ave c) Fair game- baseball fields The problem is that dunning has no hills or trees
I still don't think they have told us what park.... only what to look for in the park....and what it is hidden in.... maybe on "in" the snown but "in the air" like hung from a tree or something.....what do you think.

Theory 2-Newell A) A nearby radio tower B) "Fair",Fairview ave C) "I'm game", baseball fields D) Staying away from trees and trecking on hills= one half of the park has a lot of trees, and the other side has a sledding hill The only problem I see is that Newell seems like the last place they would put it now, but they may try to mislead us
Yeah LL- checked out Phalen too...... nothing! Not even sure where to check tomorrow when I go out. Man o man..... this year is harder for me than any previous year.

Thoughts about Crosby, I always thought that they closed the road to Crosby in the winter. Anybody know?

Last year, clue five talked only about what the medallion was hidden in, but of course we didn't know THAT until afterward.
Different writer this year, or so it seems, so ya never know what we'll get.
I know this was already talked about a lil bit....but has anyone thought that maybe we're not lookin for a medallion this year?
"and on the air" == other indian

look for a park with lots of sky over it
look for a park that has a road by it etc
I just think they wouldnt depend on snow to help them its probably taped to a tree or something
Hey Eags! You'll be here Friday for hunting?
I like the places on the paths next to mounds. There are many paths going into the woods.
Mounds is huge really.
And have no fear is to be brave.
Let the medallion search in you light a spark
search light
talking to me?
It's fixed, they haven't even hidden it yet
to me, "in and on the air" has to be a tv or radio tower
EagleStar - Nope. Sorry. There's another Eags here.
It has been found very early, my guess is that they hade it before clue 1
Yes,
Like this quote? I think it is too far out.
Nae man can tether time or tide - Robert Burns
Burns Ave. runs into Mounds Park.
Yes, Terry. I laughed when I found it. I think it is a bit obscure, but I live for the obscure meaning of clues.
Liquor Lady- you still here?
I walked through Mounds for three hours on Tuesday. Those paths go all over.

I was thinking you can see KSTP from Mounds. Is that KSTP?
What was the theory about Crosby......????
Theory 1-Dunning A) A radio tower nearby B) "Tip" like on a concorde-Concordia ave c) Fair game- baseball fields The problem is that dunning has no hills or trees
Hey, Terry...hopefully by Friday night we'll be out there! Can't wait to see y'all.
yeah jordenn, how's it goin? find anything promising today?
You probably could see KSTP if you can see it past the downtown area.
There was at least one big tower out south from the park that I noticed.
SO WHERE DOES EVERY1 THINK IT IS THIS YEAR
LL- nahhhh... not really. Mounds was the only place I visited that looked promising, but you know we can make the clues fit any ol park about now.
How about you?
SO FAR I HAVE NO FRICKIN IDEA
heh....its in the frog pond at como
There is something big to the West. Seems like there was several towers in other directions.
I was impressed by the view at Mounds. You can see just about anything up there.
I am supposed to be writing a grant. I gotta go. Stupid deadline is the 31st. Ugh.
nothin..... scoped phalen earlier but didn't see anything good.
IS JAKE ON
I would say Crosby and Highland have to be the top picks so far.
I still don't think they have told us what park.... only what to look for in the park....and what it is hidden in.... maybe on "in" the snown but "in the air" like hung from a tree or something.....what do you think.
Goodluck Wabbit! Been there. Done that.

And the frog pond of course........Como fits better then the rest of the clues anyway.

Highs in the mid 40's this weekend, get ready for slopping rather than digging
Ok...so has everyone ruled out BC then? cause im not seeing any more mention of it in here.
I think the only way one can trip over it is on the ground - unless you're walking up trees or whatever.
Yeah LL- checked out Phalen too...... nothing! Not even sure where to check tomorrow when I go out. Man o man..... this year is harder for me than any previous year.
Medallion Hunter- I think you are right on the money...no park yet...just circumstantial clues
