I went to Crosby tonight - it wasn't that creepy. Also went to Mounds - great possibilities there. At Mounds, if you "knit your brows," you can se the "1" on the bank bldg downtown. Liked that tie-in a lot.
What I like about Mounds vs. just about any park is the woods. Real woods...not just trees. I like the airport visible, the fact that the park is quite large for what everyone is hoping will be a long hunt.
I'm still keeping an open mind though. Don't want to make the clues fit the park, but let the clues lead the way.

The fairgrounds and tv/radio towers are visible from Newell.

Newell Park doesn't have sledding hills right? Remember being out there before.... not a huge park....Work your legs....etc. don't see the tie in....
At Merrian there is a DOT trafic camera that is very high inthe air and broadcasts on the air I liked that more than a tower

newell does have a sledding hill.. and believe me I worked my legs there a few yrs ago.....
