2002 Pioneer Press Treasure Hunt

Submitted by Casey Trauer on

Yes, the medallion has been found, but there's still lots to talk about. Feel the need for more than virtual discussion? Then join the Re-Hash Bash, Sunday, Jan. 27, at noon at Merriam Park in St. Paul.

Maybe it is a park near the fair where you can see all this, like Newell--i doubt it, but it is a possiblility.

Maybe This Wil…

I agree about the state fair grounds, I thought the clues could fit there well except that it isn't a park...

you can find a spot that perfectly fits the descriptions at Como for sure...also seems like highland has the features described.

So much talk about the fairgrounds, so many reason why it can be there!

1) It's in Falcon Heights, not St. Paul, clue one specifically says a St. Paul Park

2) It's not even a park

3) It's private ground

Maybe we can put this one to rest

yeah, thats what i thought...i think their private property too..could be wrong though.

Thanks for the help locating Crosby all! Found it. Jeez, I must be blind.... it's a rather large park on the map! (No wonder I didn't see it! LOL)

For the Mounds people, it looks like the hill at Mounds is called Ok, according to Steve's book. Maybe I'm misreading it.

I think swede could be the one fly.

I Got it---Crosby. It mentioned the word fair. Gannon Rd. runs into the park and we all saw the Raider game how the call was not Fair. That is it! Everyone to Crosby

every year someone goes with the fair. People (not myself) have got in trouble at the fair. Don't go there, it won't be there.

ok i have been thinking about this and in the rules it says any ramsey county park ok if u really read into the St Paul park it could litterally be "st paul park" but they could have just said it to screw with ya--- falcon hieghts is a subburb of st paul????? just because it said st paul park dosent mean it is in ST PAUL

I just got back from searching what seems like all of St Paul...I've been gone since 1pm and still have no clue. I do know the beer at Fern's is clod and the Buffalo shrimp are spicey. I'm just too tired to wait-up for the clue. Good Luck everyone!

They changed the rules. I think around 94, they swiched from all of the county to just st. paul owned parks
