2012 - Tony Schmidt Park

Submitted by ares on
2012 Clues

So its back to the drawing board for next year
to find a spot so deep and drear.
Harder to reach all you whiners
than those buried Chilean miners.

Next year's clues will inspire dread
requiring knowledge of languages dead,
Higher math rocket science
disbanding every hunters alliance.

I take your leave. I bid adieu.
I go in search of the perfect clue.
Prepare to hike hard dig deep and delve.
Will have a grand party in 2012.

I am wondering with words like respect and dwell if it is basically (hopefully) going to be telling people to stay out of the marshes.

nope, i saw it. but friend and end are in two different verses.

Could the buildings be interpreted as gazebos.
Mon, 01/30/2012 - 8:43 PM Permalink
Terry

I can't find words to go together that make sense.

I talkd to an Ojibwe friend of mine tonight about last night's clue. She said that rice gathering happens in August. By fall it's all over. She goes to gather rice each year so she knows.

Is there a gazebo at Shamrock?
Mon, 01/30/2012 - 8:45 PM Permalink
mrmnmikey

I think its about the gazebo on E2 road, follow trail, respect property, go to veiw beach...
Mon, 01/30/2012 - 8:45 PM Permalink
Terry

I suppose picnic shelters could be called gazebos.

And it's not like como has more than one gazebo that I can think of.

But TSP has none.
Mon, 01/30/2012 - 8:46 PM Permalink
GreenTeam

But you can see the shore of the lake from TSP.
Mon, 01/30/2012 - 8:46 PM Permalink
mrmnmikey

there is a gazebo at the park by the lake, another one by E2 road, and onother one on private property

Terry

This clue - whatever it says would certainly point to the part of the park that one can see the beach area.

ares I think it would actually be this

galore/shore

aback/track

dwell/smell Best and Rest

leelabell

Based on the website pix, I would say the picnic shelters could be gazebos. They are open sided.

1988's clue where it was found called it a "domed shelter" in the clue:

In case of unexpected rain

Don't run helter skelter.

Protection's waiting just for you

At a nearby shelter.

Our Thoughts: The shelter in the clue refers to the domed structure in the park near the medallion site.
