I think that chick.... Kathleen or whatever is gonna win, and i'm trying not to even watch that much...

she could sing me to sleep everynight, the way she almost did last night.... and I mean that in a good way.

Aiden - "Die Romantic"

You can illustrate a life in romance.

But, I can show you something so much more than words,

In my hands.

That's your best intention, now, to burn your friends?

This is your last night, this is your last chance.

(In my hands)

(Die romantic, romantic)

This is the nightmare, we fall asleep.

(Die romantic, romantic)

This is the nightmare we don't complete.

Tonight's the night, and it's all we need, now.

(To die romantic)

I sat and watched your heartbeat fade with every breath.

I watched your lips turn blue, your eyes went cold and all, with all the rest.

I hold the panic, try to breathe.

Is this happening?

I've fucking had it.

Well, God, save me, please.

'Cuz I don't think she'll make it through the night.

(Die romantic, romantic)

This is the nightmare, we fall asleep.

(Die romantic, romantic)

This is the nightmare we don't complete.

Tonight's the night, and it's all we need, now.

(To die romantic)

[x2]

Your last words to me, "Tonight's the night, and redemption is only found in books."

Your last words to me, "Tonight's the night, and redemption is harder than it looks."

"So, take care of what you love, and all the stuff,

an image of a life in shattered glass...

It's all I have to ask."

I...Won't...Let...This...Go...

I...Won't...Let...This...Go...

You can illustrate a death in romance.

I can show you something so much more than words,

In my hands.

Don't forget the price you pay for everyday.

This is your last night,

Suicide kept tight,

You're gone tonight.

(Die romantic, romantic)

This is the nightmare, we fall asleep.

(Die romantic, romantic)

This is the nightmare we don't complete.

Tonight's the night, and it's all we need, now.

(To die romantic)

[x2]

Die romantic, die romantic, die romantic, die romantic....

we've gotten through before.

although i can't imagine how they manage to do it with such accuracy, since all the phone numbers eventually terminate in the same phone bank. its like any company where each individual desk gets its own outside phone number, yet they only have 10 incoming phone lines to service 50-100 phones. only instead of having a pbx, idol has a computer connected to the lines. a caller calls one of the contestant lines, it travels across the phone network to the computer, when the computer is sent a ring signal, it also receives signals telling it which number was called and which number did the calling. in theory, one phone line could handle all the incoming calls, except for the demand. so in reality, when you're getting a busy signal, any who's calling for any of the contestants, not just the one you're calling for is getting a busy signal. i suspect that the statistical accuracy of his data is slightly skewed by the fact that people are calling for a specific contestant and not getting through to the entire phone bank, not just that the particular person's line is busy. not being a statistician, i have no idea what that would do to the stats

Jitterbug [4X]

You put the boom-boom into my heart

You send my soul sky high when your lovin' starts

Jitterbug into my brain

Goes a bang-bang-bang 'til my feet do the same

But something's bugging you

Something ain't right

My best friend told me what you did last night

Left me sleepin' in my bed

I was dreaming, but I should have been with you instead.

Wake me up before you go-go

Don't leave me hanging on like a yo-yo

Wake me up before you go-go

I don't want to miss it when you hit that high

Wake me up before you go-go

'Cause I'm not plannin' on going solo

Wake me up before you go-go

Take me dancing tonight

I wanna hit that high (yeah, yeah)

You take the grey skies out of my way

You make the sun shine brighter than Doris Day

Turned a bright spark into a flame

My beats per minute never been the same

'Cause you're my lady, I'm your fool

It makes me crazy when you act so cruel

Come on, baby, let's not fight

We'll go dancing, everything will be all right

Wake me up before you go-go

Don't leave me hanging on like a yo-yo

Wake me up before you go-go

I don't want to miss it when you hit that high

Wake me up before you go-go

'Cause I'm not plannin'' on going solo

Wake me up before you go-go

Take me dancing tonight

I wanna hit that high (yeah, yeah, baby)

(Jitterbug)

(Jitterbug)

Cuddle up, baby, move in tight

We'll go dancing tomorrow night

It's cold out there, but it's warm in bed

They can dance, we'll stay home instead

(Jitterbug)

Wake me up before you go-go

Don't leave me hanging on like a yo-yo

Wake me up before you go-go

I don't want to miss it when you hit that high

Wake me up before you go-go

'Cause I'm not plannin' on going solo

Wake me up before you go-go

Take me dancing tonight

Wake me up before you go-go, don't you dare to leave me hanging on like a

yo-yo

Take me dancing

Panic! at the Disco - "But It's Better If You Do"

Now I'm of consenting age to be forgetting you in a cabaret.

Somewhere downtown where a burlesque queen may even ask my name

As she sheds her skin on stage

I'm seated and sweating to a dance song on the club's P.A.

The strip joint veteran sits two away

Smirking between dignified sips of his dignified peach and lime daiquiri

And isn't this exactly where you'd like me

I'm exactly where you'd like me, you know

Praying for love in a lap dance and paying in naivety

Oh, and isn't this exactly where you'd like me

I'm exactly where you'd like me, you know

Praying for love in a lap dance and paying in naivety

Oh, but I'm afraid that I

Well, I may of faked it

And I wouldn't be caught dead in this place

Well, I'm afraid that I

Well, that's right, that I may have faked it

And I wouldn't be caught dead in this place

And isn't this exactly where you'd like me

I'm exactly where you'd like me, you know

Praying for love in a lap dance and paying in naivety

Oh, and isn't this exactly where you'd like me

I'm exactly where you'd like me, you know

Praying for love in a lap dance and paying in naivety

Well, I'm afraid that I

Well, I may of faked it

And I wouldn't be caught dead in this place

Well, I'm afraid that I

Well, that's right, well I may have faked it

And I wouldn't be caught dead in this place

And isn't this exactly where you'd like me

I'm exactly where you'd like me, you know

Praying for love in a lap dance and paying in naivety

Oh, and isn't this exactly where you'd like me

I'm exactly where you'd like me, you know

Praying for love in a lap dance and paying in naivety

Praying for love and paying in naivety

Praying for love and paying in naivety, oh

The Academy Is... - "Pour Yourself Another Drink"

Pour yourself a drink girl, then make one for me.

We haven't even met yet, and I'm already sure that we won't.

..and I'm right back where I started.

The air in here is shaking every single nerve.

I'm trying hard to let go, but my heart, it won't let me love you.

..and I'm right back where I started. Right back...

Moving on up. We're walking on the edge.

Everyone here has demons in their past

Now move it on up. You're walking on the edge.

Everyone here has demons in their past now.

The only thing worse for you than you is me.

The only thing worse for you than you is me.

The life that I've chosen to live will take your heart and swallow it

The only thing worse for you than you is to make you wait for me.

And that's why we will never meet.

The Academy Is... - "Down And Out"

Out of the box, out of the kitchen.

Out of the world she's grown so fearful of, so fearful of.

I don't ever want to see you again.

I don't ever want to see you again.

I don't ever want to see you again.

I don't ever want to see you again, my friend.

This is the end.

Out of the house, she grabs the keys, runs for the hills and doesn't leave a letter.

That way the impact will be much better.

Away from the man that she's grown so fearful of, so fearful of.

I don't ever want to see you again.

I don't ever want to see you again.

I don't ever want to see you again.

I don't ever want to see you again.

Why, oh why, do you wear sunglasses in the home

when the sun went down about an hour ago?

Why, oh why, do you wear sunglasses in the home

when the sun went down about an hour ago?

Life should not be that way.

Always up or down, never down and out.

You dream of demons while you sleep that make you stutter when you speak.

Always up or down, never down and out.

You dream of demons while you sleep that make you stutter when you speak.

Speak now or forever hold your peace in pieces.

Now that I'm grown I've seen marriages fall to pieces.

Now that I'm grown I've seen friendships fall to pieces.

Weekend warriors, and our best friends.

The writers weren't kidding about how all good things must end.

Then again some things, then again some things are far too good,

Some things are far too good to go ahead and let go.

Always up or down, never down and out.

You dream of demons while you sleep that make you stutter when you speak.

Always up or down, never down and out.

You dream of demons while you sleep that make you stutter when you speak.

Speak now or forever hold your peace.

We won't forget Tony or Johnny, oh, oh.

No matter how they miss us they still wish us the best on the road.

Garrett took a plane to Paris, France.

Now he's cooking up entrees for the pretty, pretty French girls.

Bookends, Blue and Clarity, to The Wall and Grace.

Darkside, Wish and a toast to the late Figure 8.

Weekend warriors and our best friends.

The writers weren't kidding, but the good things will live in our hearts.

Always up or down, never down and out.

You dream of demons while you sleep that make you stutter when you speak.

Always up or down, never down and out.

You dream of demons while you sleep that make you stutter when you speak.

Always up or down, never down and out.

You dream of demons while you sleep that make you stutter when you speak.

Always up or down, never down and out.

You dream of demons while you sleep that make you stutter when you speak.

Speak now or forever hold your peace in pieces.

I keep a close watch on this heart of mine

I keep my eyes wide open all the time

I keep the ends out for the tie that binds

Because you're mine, I walk the line

I find it very, very easy to be true

I find myself alone when each day is through

Yes, I'll admit that I'm a fool for you

Because you're mine, I walk the line

As sure as night is dark and day is light

I keep you on my mind both day and night

And happiness I've known proves that it's right

Because you're mine, I walk the line

You've got a way to keep me on your side

You give me cause for love that I can't hide

For you I know I'd even try to turn the tide

Because you're mine, I walk the line

I keep a close watch on this heart of mine

I keep my eyes wide open all the time

I keep the ends out for the tie that binds

Because you're mine, I walk the line

Solitude Aeturnis

-- The Final Sin

Ancient black and silent fire

Within your hearts creates desire

To covet far beyond your need

The embers of eternal Greed

Destroy the Earth and cloud the sky

Fill your chests with other's lives

A Midas curse - A deadly shroud

And "all for what?"I ask you now

Armies fill Towers of Greed

Ultimate drones of deceit

Selling you won hopes and dreams

For nothing is nothing it seems

Godsend

The Crimson wind

You'll die with nothing

In the end...

There is only pain within

There is only pain for sin

Still trapped inside the hourglass

Toil and break our backs 'till death

Chained to our dying breath

Behind the mask of loneliness

Forever burning golden pyre

Weeping tears of crimson flame

For ashes that shall bear your name

So I ask you once again

Why must you forever exchange

The peace that gold can buy

For the vanity that it may?

Sometimes it seems the good times

Never will return

A lot has changed, babe

'Cause evil rules the world

You said you're looking for a place

Where there's no hate

Oh, babe, it really makes no sense

To escape

How long will it take

To make the world a flaming star

How long will it take

Till they stop their senseless wars

How long will it take

Till everybody will understand

That we need to fill our hearts with love again

The only future we've got

Exists right now

Let's take the time, babe

As long as the world is turning 'round

How long will it take

To make the earth a fireball

How long will it take

Till no more life exists at all

How long will it take

Till everybody will understand

That we need to fill our hearts with love again

It's up to you

To fight the evil in your mind

It's up to you

The more love you give, the more you'll find

The more love you give, the more you'll find

Don't make the world a flaming star

Stop, stop all these senseless wars

How long will it take

Till everybody will understand

That we need to fill our hearts with love again

Here's a challenge for you fellow music geeks.

Name your top 10 albums of all time. They can be for whatever reason you want. The trick is to keep it to only 10. I tried it once and could only narrow it to 25. I kept feeling like I was betraying an album if it fell off that final list. They all could have been #11. I'll try again when I get home and see if I can do it this time.

Thats next to impossible for me to do, while i'm sober...

(the liquor would make me think about it, write it down, and not second guess myself :goofy:)

pretty much the same reasoning.... theres too many that I like, so if I leave one off, it makes me double think every other one thats on the list or should be...

so... instead, since i'm not drinking... heres a list that I just posted on my blog, of 13 CD's that are on my play-list lately....

- The Arctic Monkeys - Whatever People Say I Am, Thats What I'm Not

- System Of A Down - Mezmerize

- Jenny Lewis - Rabbit Fur Coat

- Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Show Your Bones

- High On Stress - Moonlight Girls

- Tegan & Sara - If It Was You

- Tegan & Sara - So Jealous

- Martin Devaney - La Mancha

-Valet - Life On the Installment Plan

- The Replacements - Pleased To Meet Me

- Elliot Smith - From a Basement on the Hill

- Ryan Adams - Cold Roses

- Butch Walker - Left of Self Centered

I try and listen to CD's over and over again and tracks over and over, when I have time... learn them...really "hear" them...

so my list doesnt see alotta changes from month to month.... but I try and keep it fresh, and sometimes post a list, just incase anybody else hasnt heard something.... to spark interest, hopefully in something new for somebody.

although theres a couple that seem to stay on there, seemingly all the time... High On Stress would be one of them... I've f'n fallen in love with those guys, both live and on that CD...

they've proven that you actually can wear a CD out from too much listening.
