Speaking OF the devil.. I had dinner with my friend Christmas, and her mom tonight (mom is a therapist) to which Xmas had me tell her mom the story of my last encounter with my mom.

She has suggested I read: Stop walking on eggshells - looks like I'm going to boarders tomorrow...

I'm a thinkin' I need to "time" another phone call...need to call when vino is there...

but I wil write something up today...

I got thrown out of Choir when I was in 8th grade because we sang Kokomo in front of the entire school. But instead of "tropical drinks melting in the sand" me and three other guys sang "tropical drinks and superman" and pointed to the sky.

Vino won't be making a public appearance at that house for a long long time. so you've got pleanty of time to formulate your plan.

For all the music junkies out there - I just got word that LUCE is playing with Toad the Wet Sprocket June 17th @ the Minnesota Zoo Amphitheatere in Apple Valley.

enjoy: getting out on minnetonka twice this weekend.

enjoy: my garden is FINISHED.

16 different tomatoes, 3 different cucumbers 3 different melons, basil, sweet peas, snow peas, bush beans, strawberries, raspberrys, boysenberries, blackberries and blue berries.

Next weekend, I put the new peppers in the green house along with the carrots and beets.

That all sounds good, except the beets, yuck.

I didn't even know there were 16 kinds of tomatoes.

There are HUNDREDs of kinds of tomatoes, they are like grapes - tons and tons of different clones. I actually don't have a single F-1 (i.e. standard - or early girl, better boy, etc.)

I got green grape, strawberry/orange, sunsugar, sungold, purple prince, black plum, Sausage, San Marizano, San Fran Fog - those are the ones I can remember, off the top of my head.

oh, brandywine, stupice, mr. stripey, a japanese heart shaped tomatoe.

San Fran Fog? That sounds different. Stawberry Orange.. Would be cool to try some of those.

Heck I like tomatoes, guess I take after my grandfather (he used to grow tomatoes, just ate them like apples).

yeah. Me too. I love them. I think I like Tomatoes better than most fruit.

Certainly more than strawberries. Strawberries in my opinion are overrated.

I love fruit a lot more thn vegetables. Tomatoes I like as ketchup or tomato sauce, but in chunks or as a whole I'm not a fan of. Fruit for me!

Tomatoes are extremely high in anti-oxidants.

There is a festival here in town around labor day and its everything tomatoes. mmmm. yum.

I'm kinda wierd about tomatoes... I like on or in things like sandwiches, salad, tacos, or salsa. But I don't like them plain.

I just completed my salsa garden - tomatoes, green peppers, banana peppers, and jalapenos. I wish I could figure out how to keep cilantro alive.

Hmm.. sounds like I need to take a trip for labor day weekend.....

keep the flowering to a minimum. Plant it in partial shade (even tho it says full sun)

I pick several stalks every day, so it keeps wanting to re-grow.

If it goes to seed - dry them (corriander) or use them to re-seed.

I always grow it in pots, so depending on the weather (I can move it in and out of shade etc)
