The one before last was a temp job only 2 months and ad-art was just a small time company with a boss that could not run a company if his life depended on it.

- having a borrowed car for the night... cruising around in the middle of the night, with the windows down, and the radio on - full blast....hearing songs that take me back to a time, not too long ago, but what seems like a lifetime ago, in which seemingly everything was right, before it all came crashing down...
- snapping out of it, and seeing that you're doing 115, and there are no other cars on the road....
- finding 15-20 CD's that I wanted, and have been looking for, all at the same time, at Cheapo....
- seeing a deer crossing the street near the beacon at Mounds Park.... being the only person around to see it..getting out and walking within 2-3 feet of it, before it ran away.... nobody else experiencing it....
- getting a free chai tea latte from the chick at Caribou, because she thought "I was cute"...
it was. we had it in on friday of last week and they put a half a pound of freon in it, along with the fluorescent dye. gone by saturday. as it turns out, there was a huge hole in the condenser coils; they put the black light on it and the whole area was bright green.
And I just got on here to mention how much I enjoyed the spelling bee too Tates. That was pretty cool. I haven't watched one in quite some time and I don't remember it being that fun. I actually spelled the Hawaiian word correctly. Thank God they only use 13 letters.
enjoy: tc paying $25 bucks each for 2 complete sets of antique china, seats 12, complete with all the serving dishes. we ought to be able to get close to a grand reselling them
You might want to check with http://www.replacements.com they are a china dealer that will buy your sets if it's a pattern they need. I bought a complete bavarian china set at a garage sale for $40 that I was going to give to my sister for part of her wedding gift. I emailed them just to see what they would offer me... they give you a piece by piece price sheet...all in all it added up to almost $500.
Having a nice relaxing week up north before Coco leaves, just getting back at a nice time to get some things done before having to go to bed. Although it would have been fun to go to Grand Old Days today.
- spending a decent amount of time in a part of town that I love - without being rained on, for a change... seeing some good music...
- hopping on a bus, after that, and going to Uptown.... wandering around, aimlessly for a long time in that area, and discovering places I'd "almost" forgotten existed....
- really good thai food...
- enjoying 2 really good tasting, glasses of beer, on a hot day, at some random bar that I happened to pass by....
- ice-cream vendors showing up almost magically, right when you're thinking about trying to find some...
enjoy: Friday - 18 holes of golf and scoring only 5 over par. Oysters, pizza, pretzle dogs, beer, margaritas, shots of jack, more beer topped with shrimp cocktails.. (every hole had a theme - to eat/drink/do)
Friday night - seeing one of my favorite bands
Saturday - shopping and getting KILLER deals!
Saturday - pub crawl with my friends
Sunday - cleaning house for my Wed night dinner party, and it still being warm enough @ 5 to go swimming for 2 hours.
New trucks, lakes, family, Valley Fair day, watching the snapping turtle make people turn around on the jogging path, rain storms tonight all around great times.
it seems like you switch once a month
:pbpt:

I also enjoy having a fun night out with friends with good tunes and good darts.

Finally purchasing a CD from Cheapo that I had been avoiding, because I was afraid of how it would make me feel....
