I show up, first thing I hear about is how some vendor invoices weren't syncronizing between our two pieces of business software. Obviously the problem was with the software sync, right?
I saw right through it, as usual, and asked what they had done differently since the last time it had been working.
2 minutes later it's "Oh, I've been backdating all the invoices, nevermind".
Pfft, idiots. At least I knew enough to not waste a couple hours troubleshooting a non-existant software problem.
ok kitch..feel like showin' how good you are?? any info you can find on this chester molester would be awesome  an address is what I'm looking for, he seems to really like 15 year old girls...I think he lives in cambridge.
This reminds me of something that happened a few years ago. I might have already told this story, but indulge me please.
I was at the Croatian Hall in SSP with some friends when a young man came in with a letter he had gotten from a woman he had met in Croatia. The letter was written in Croatian. He was from Minneapolis and had found the Croatian Hall in the phone book so drove over. He asked if someone would please translate the letter for him. We had to tell him that no one in the hall was Croatian. He was very disappointed, but it was pretty funny. He expected the place to be full of Croatian people.
Lenny did give him the names of a few people he could contact.
Already warned her if we caught her talking to them she wasn't ever leaving the house again. I hate this shit, I don't know where she meets these fricken people  she told us they might be moving back to bosnia, I hope so.
Finding out about a couple incidents that happened with my aging Aunt and Uncle, meaning that they need a nursing home. Shes in the hospital now and needs 24hr care. :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown:
I'm not freaking out. Disappointed that my grandson's wrestling tournament was cancelled though. But I'm enjoying watching the three little boys from next door playing with their sleds in my yard.
What irritates me??? Hmmm well the fact that my step sister (my dads daugher) and her boyfriend used all the gas in the MULTIPLE can's out in the pull barn in the gator and other gas ran things and NEVER told my mom they were empty never filled them up nothing so now here we sit with 12 inches (at least) of snow and can't move it. my mom starts freaking out because if/when my dad goes in the next couple days the cremation society can't get in and if they can't get his body has to stay here which she doesn't want for an extended period of time. My husband will be up but probably not until tomorrow because he has to plow down in the cities, so she finally made the decision to call out a plow truck and pay to remove the snow we could have easily done ourselves IF there WAS FREAKING GAS IN THE GAS CANS!
L&A, I'm so sorry to hear of all you are going through. And to be left without gasoline at a time like this!
I don't know what youre area support systems are, but sometimes a hospice or community (Red Cross?) volunteer will be willing to bring in what is needed, even on a snowmobile, and or perhaps local authorities could bail you out this time. You have very extenuating circumstances going on there! I know how it is to live in a remote area - it can feel so isolated. You have probably thought of, or tried, or ruled out these ideas, but just thought I'd mention them. Will keep you and your family in my thoughts.
We did get someone in here to plow and they might even be doing it for free nobody gave my mom a price and its a guy she knows and knows our situation so we got lucky that way. I'm just P!$$Ed that my step sister had the BA!!S to leave use SEVERAL gas cans empty. They have two large (10 gallon?) containers and 2 small containers all empty (2 gallon?). We really aren't in need of anything supplies wise we were just worried that if something happened with my dad today that there would be issues with getting him picked up. He is still hanging in there but hasn't eatten anything since Tuesday the 13th besides maybe 2 bites here and 2 bites there but nothing at all besides some SF Jello since I came up on Monday of last week.
heh. after the plow covered up our driveway i went back out with the snow blower and put it all back across the street for the plow to put in the neighbors yard as it did the other side of the street
I got news today that a friend of mine who was in her late 30's passed away from cancer. She had fought (and won) 3 times already, but the third time got her and was too much. She leaves behind two little kids, a great husband, and a 'team' of friends.
that and following my current tagline's advice.
takin' anything for them?

2. Not having a choice in the matter
3. Not being BLS certified to begin with
4. No internet in the 8x10 brick rooms you get to stay in (You do, however, get 15 channels on TV)
That is the benefit of being a Federal Exempted Employee... You are exempt of the rights and privileges of Federal law... (really)
