As Mr Medhunter said, it seems another girl lost her life today from the same accident yesterday. It was my wifes friends daughter and her friend :frown: :frown: :frown:
My guy has his head wrapped like a lobotomy patient too though - so it's extra funny looking.
kitty - is here at my feet. not doing well. I'm so sad, though I can't bring myself to take her and traumatize her to put her down. She's not in pain. I think she's sad though. Its tearing my heart out.
so sorry about your kitty vino... I have a senior citizen calico myself and I can't imagine what I am going to do when her time comes... our thoughts are with you. :frown:
Love4Vino, what is wrong with your kitty that she is sad?
My dog who had a stroke three weeks ago has been looking so sad lately. He seems to feel fine, and is actually doing well, but he looks so sad. It is heartbreaking.
My kitty is beyond sad. She is 15, and her body is shutting down. I think she had a stroke last week. She is laying here, there is blood coming out of her mouth, her breaths are heavy. She stopped eatting about a week ago, and stopped drinking yesterday. She can't move - it's as if rigamortis is setting in.
She can still purr, and as I sit here and pet her, she is purring - which is why I can't seem to take her to the vet and put her down.
Thanks T.C. Between her and the damn dog having his surgery - this has got to be the toughest animal week I've ever had. As much as I love my cat, I love my dog 1000xs as much - should he ever go - it may break my heart.
Love4Vino, I'm so sorry you are going through this. I wish the vets would give us more tools to get through the final hours at home. I can't see stressing them out to take them in, either. I know my vet will come out to the car, but still, I'd rather just be at home with them. You and your little pets are in my thoughts.
Felony Passed tonight about an hour ago. I just finished putting her and her blanket and her stuffed octopus in the little rubbermaid box and got it ready so I can bury her first thing in the morning.
She went really peacefully. I snapped these photos a few minutes before she passed. My dog Hunter (senior lampshade) cuddled her most of the day, and you can see him watching with genuine concern. He's here at my feet now. I'm not sure which one of us is sadder.
Those have to be a few of the saddest pictures I've seen in quite some time Vino. I'm very sad for your loss and for the stressful past week. Monday never looked so good.
I'm sorry about your cat passing Vino. Those pics are very telling. I know you feel bad, and please don't take this the wrong way but, those pictures are awsome. You should sell them.
I went to a wake today for a 16yr old girl. I never saw so many people at a wake. It was very sad. :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown:
My regards, thoughts and prayers to each of the families with lost ones.
Thanks for the comment on the pix 3M. yeah - they were touching to take. I wish I would have had film in my good camera, I could have gotten a really good shot. Hunter is such a love.
We just came back from the vet, getting his ear cleaned, and his head re-taped. I feel so bad for him. He has I think 2 or so weeks of this dork collar ahead of him.
Took a new lease on life today after burying my kitty - and buying a rosebush for her, and one for Little Bear - I went out to the country and took many photos of spring.
as soon as either on of the batteries on my camera recharges enough for me to download them I'll share. Got some really amazing mustard field shots.
Vino I'm very sorry to hear about your Cat its always hard to loose a friend like that. I've had to endure the loss of 4 cats and it never gets any easier. HUGS! :asleep: :frown:
but kitchy, your cat isnt gonna care if you poop on anything of his! ...you could give it a shot though and let us know how that works for ya.  :eyeroll:
mine seem to know. A few weeks ago - one was mad at me, and came in the bathroom, and peed right on the ground infront of me. Then walked out before I could grab him.
The next week, everytime he walked into the bathroom and i was in there.. HE KNEW. he had been a bad boy.
Speaking of bad boy.. he's sitting here in my lap clawing me and talking right now.
NT's boy put a poem on his myspace that pretty much bashes his dad, I'm having a really hard time keeping my mouth shut on this one, I wish he'd hurry up and turn 18.......
that suxs LL. but you know, at 17... they are expressing how they see the world (which is usually several tangents off from how an adult would)
Think of it this way - a poem, is a poem, is a poem.. Its a heck of a lot better of than other things he could be doing.
I wrote a lot of angry "art" if you will when I was in High School.. funny thing - since graduating, I've yet to write another poem. Its like that part of me dried up.
the issue isn't really the poem, it's more about him blaming everything on his dad because of what NT's exes family has instilled in his head for so many years, I think it's time to tell him how it really went and why him and his dad have such a crappy relationship, but on the other hand...Iv'e always pretty much stayed out of the bullshit, not sure it's my place, but someone has to tell him or he will always have that hatred for his dad.
I have been pretty lucky so far with my step kids... but I see trouble on the horizon for the oldest... Not looking forward to the teenage years (starts next year...)
waking up, dizzy as hell, with a sore throat...
I dunno what hit me, but it sucks...
hence the name.
and the photo KC posted is pretty spot on.

I think he loved his kitty.
i'm sitting here, and my cat Andrew is in my lap. He knows. its sweet how loving he is - usually this cat is not a lap sitter or a lover.
My deep sympathy to you.
-Eags
little coffin n the ground next to Little Bear.
my other kitties (3) are acting odd. not like how they did when LB died. like they knew she was sick n it was time.
going to order a kitty stone for her this week as well. i swear my back yard is a pet cemetary. 2 guinea pigs. 2 stray cats. 2 my cats.
hug. love. and appreciate everyone, including your animals, as they give of themselves the most.
im pretty sure i have strep throat
my dryer refuses to get warm and dry my clothing
my phone doesn't charge completely.
Sorry Vino.... :frown:
just thought I'd pass the news along....
he's been hiding it pretty good, but he's hurting..... me and Carolyn spent most of last night with him....
I'm heading out to the visitation, in a little while....

Kitchy... why would you want to do such a thing? Is your cat channeling my mother?
needless to say......I'm this close to taking him to my parents farm and letting him learn how to chase field mice.
Spray it with no go...
why?
cause you are bound to sleep, and they will come and snuggle and rub the pee spot right in your nose.
cats are ruthless.

it looks pretty though... don't do much, but it sure looks good. Just like me
soooo pissed....guess its a wait and see....

:frown: :frown: :frown: :frown: this sucks!!!!!!!!
2007 has been such a wash! get it over already!
I thought 2006 was a bad year- :frown:
I look forward to the 17th- get together with friends - a great spirit lifter
speaking of 'spirits'.... drove past a liquor store where the sign read "wine & spirits" ... Sarah asked what Spirits were

you're perfectly within your right to say something if no one else will.
I agree... but in order for it to 'work', and to really get it through it would need to be done with great care, tact, and understanding.
Tough situation... :frown:
