I realize that a proper diet is necessary to lose (and maintain) a healthy weight. I went a little crazy this weekend with nummies with my friends... and so now the rest of the week, isn't quite so nummy.
I you are what you eat, then I'm the friggin Easter Bunny with a Fat Free Cottage Cheese fetish.
We used to go to the cafeteria in that building when I worked at Let's Play Hockey. Our office was across 24th from where the MOA is now, but at that time there was no where around there to get lunch unless you drove over to 98th and Lindale.
The great thing about that area is that the traffic doesn't start building until after 24th, so it's easy to get to with no delays.
BW3 wasn't that great. I went twice when I was there, their sauces are kinda funky. Although the Mango Habanero was decent on the naked chicken sticks that you dip yourself.
I loved their bloody mary's - they were good.
The service was worse than a mcdonalds on crack though.
I dont think anybody honestly understands how f***in bad I need work, right now....
Life was basically "on hold" for the past 2+ years, because of all of that b.s. that I had to deal with..... still have a couple of months left of it too....
****!!!!!
I was fitting in good there...
they just had to make cutbacks..
I felt like a shmuck, basically begging the guy not to pick me..... when it wasnt even his decision.....
!@@$%^&*^*&^(*!!!!!!!!!!
I feel like the f'n mark of death for places... i get hired and pretty soon after that the company is going down-hill... losing money, having to make cutbacks, etc.....
shakes head* just got call from bride... apparently her dress looks like grannies nightgown on... (I'm guessing either granny is a really hottie, or she's being over dramatic)
praising god that I didn't agree to be in the wedding party.....
They are all going to the dark side. I bite my tongue, say no to any 'will you be in the bridal party invites' and avoid anything and everything that looks like a shower/party with the word nuptials involved.
Aside from the one wedding in May of 05 - I've dodged those too! thank gawd!
any of you ever read bridezilla.com? I sent that page to a friend (bridezilla #17, but who is counting) there is a tab on there that is like a dayplanner... she didn't find it nearly as funny as I did, as she resembled the type of person it was making fun of.
we are fine, and believe it or not...so is my car, she just broke my side view mirror off, smacked right into the side of my car, the car is plastic so there was no damage besides the mirror, and a little hair in the keyhole :eyeroll:
Could have been worse. My coworker had his car broken into this afternoon at work. All in clear view of the entire office building, but of course, nobody saw it happen.
Sad thing is they circulated a memo about a month ago about cars being broken into in the parking ramp. The police haven't been able to catch the lowlifes doing this. And from what I gathered from the officer that responded, they don't hold out much hope for ever catching them. The best thing they've been able to do is watch the pawn shops for anything that might show up (Hah, like any of that stuff will end up in a pawn shop, these people are probably smart enough to sell things on ebay). Kinda lousy considering they not only had a great opportunity to get fingerprints off my coworkers car, but even a blood sample, as whomwever did it cut themselves and bled all over the car.
Needless to say, I'm not very thrilled with leaving my car in that ramp for extended lengths of time. I'd rather not contribute to the way these people make a living
Suggest they charge even $1 and you'll deter tons of the riff-raff. Times that by 400 and you'll get a 24/7 live surveillance where they won't be able to exit without being arrested first.
Technically the City of Columbia Heights owns the ramp. That and the bar across the street uses it for overflow parking in the evenings. Two strikes against accessing a charge for the ramp.
It's also a very likely probability it's a walk in job. And not to be stereotypical, but even the officer that responded highly suspects it's one of the teens from the ALC school in my building.
It seems to me they're looking for car stereos. My coworker had an aftermarket one installed in his car, and it seems like the only thing they were interested in (idiots didn't even take the time to notice the XM radio portion, which was more pricey than the stereo).

the spicy jack is good too though.
The deep friend pickles rock too. Esp with a side of 3 mile sauce to dip them in.
and the chili dogs with cheese and onions are nummy as well
I think I've been to hooters 9? 10 times? just in 2007, and it's only March... :sheepish:
I loved their bloody mary's - they were good.
The service was worse than a mcdonalds on crack though.
I miss the Arcade that was accross from Hooters.... and that Jillians place... Gators used to play all the wrestling PPV's and stuff....
I wanted this for my ice palace collection

Thanks to my desk drawer... I have a slice on my index finger knuckle that I managed to reopen tonight on my keys while digging in my purse.
Stupid thing is in a spot where it bleeds, and bleeds... ugh. ick.
I was laid off last night....
evidentlly, due to cutbacks...

I treated myself to a coffee mocha this morning
the only reason I'd give coffee up is the staining of my teeth - but they have a cure for that
VERY sorry to hear about the jobloss Nick :frown:
seriously....
I dont think anybody honestly understands how f***in bad I need work, right now....

some little punk A** mother****er, stealing Carolyns cell phone....
and then talking trash to me about it, when I call him on it...
there were witnesses to it, and he's been flashing it around, like nobody's business....
now the fool finds out i'm looking for him, and has been hiding out...
I missed him by 5 minutes at 2 different places today....
I'm pi**ed off about tons of crap right now, and he'd make a good target to release on....

And from the sounds of it, he still has the phone on him...
I know when he see's me, he's going to buckle and hand it over like the punk that he is...
he tries to claim that he's in some kind of "asian mafia"....
mf'er.... I got Italian mafia in my veins... dont threaten me with your backyard, little kids club.....
he saw me beat the crap out of one of his best friends about a year ago, when I found that guy holding a knife to Steves brother.....
and he's been afraid of me ever since...
makes me wonder why he'd even take the chance on this, unless he was just confident that he wouldnt get caught....
dont get me wrong...
i'm not a violent person...
......unless you push the right buttons.....
.......continuously.... :coolfrown:
