Okay, maybe Newwell but first of all, why would he give away the name so early and why would he even talk about a golf course? I am still going with Highland, or possibly Como, but Newwell, I just do not know.
Are there a lot of people going out to Highland? Boy, by the amount Newwell lovers here it seems like searching at this park would be like waiting in line in the bathroom during a Vikings Game. And the reason no one found the Medallion until the last day in 1984 (I was there) was because no one knew it was there until he basically said it is at Newwell Park, it wasn't like everyone was destroying the place during the third clue. I say Highland or Como... Who is going searching tonight?
I believe the medallion is close to a school or maybe a few schools, but still that is general because, just like all the other clues, it points towards both Como and Highland. They both have schools near the park, anyone thinking what I am thinking.
I still think the 9,5, & 4 refer to an address. Its easy to pick out the 900 block, and not too hard to find 950, but you'd have to approximate the 4 (somewhere a four). 954 East goes through Phalen (right through the softball fields & hockey rinks in fact) as well as Mounds. 954 West only seems to go through Como. 954 North only seems to go through Beaver Lake Park and some other tiny green spots I can't identify. 954 South goes through Highland. Hope this helps support everyone's personal pet theory.
If my address theory is right, and Clue #5 does refer to a school, (I know, two big assupmtions) then I think that narrows it down to Como and Highland. I think Clue #4 indicates Como more than Highland though.

It sounds to me like maybe its located near a school, but that doesn't rule too many parks out, except maybe Newell.
The Capitol mall? Hmmm, maybe "downhill flying" refers to some politicians' careers. That's certainly action you wouldn't want to get too close to.

we went and walked newell part tonight, there were maybe 6 or 8 people there, hard to pin point a particular spot tho

our take on the last clue is the referance to a school and that ist hidden in a chest just like it was the first time

the final clue for 1952 is fairly vague... it just says head South east from seventh street...
