OT
FrozenButtox found a cell phone today when she was hunting with my kids. They called the owner who was shopping, and she came down to retrieve it and brought them a box of Godiva Chocolates! Sorry, they're all gone now.
Sorry, I've never done snod nor grass. And too old to start. 1963: Found at Caroll, Jefferson, Farrington and Rondo St. In a snowback with no protection.
I want to get out, but I feel like I'm getting sick. I have had just no energy at all today. I'm supposed to start a new job tomorrow too and I don't know if I'm going to be up for that. It's just a temp job though and not one I really wanted to do anyway, especially this week.
This one's for Mr.Mikey. "Kicked off the island, to a grove that once did hide us". Kicked of the island (Harriet Island), to a grove that once did hide us (the medallion). Meaning it's hidden somewhere that it's been hidden previously. I just gave you a clue...you told me to get one. ;)

The only hinges I found were on a little gold chest. Kind of looked like a pirate's treasure chest. But it was kind of dirty from being kicked around so I threw it in the fire.
I'm not ruling anything out at this point. The only thing I learned after digging all day is that no one likes my ideas. : )
Hello Mikey! Nice to see you. Find any hinges?
Not yet, but I'm still looking!

Mucky - I think I'm gonna stay put tonight. Check my eyelids for holes, & wait for the next clue. Which I predict will be uselessly cryptic, or cause a chaotic frenzy. I have the energy for neither. Gotta work tomorrow & Tuesday. Rats!
:PÂ I miscalculated... aww well.. I have to go back to the dr on Thurs to have this huge piece of cotton pulled outta my ear, so I'll just take my last 2 days of vacation on Thurs and Fri. So I can be out for clue 12 :D
OH OH OH OH um.. um.. I need to come up with a good one.....
KT - That's cool...your did a great job keeping the home fire burning, entertaining and feeding us all. It was appreciated.Â
As of 5 when I left the fire was still going strong. I put a load of wood in my van so if we end up there, or another park ::shudders::, we will have plenty of fuel.
Guys, It is NOT going to be in Cottage Grove. I hope you are kidding. The Ravine park is in Washington County not Ramsey. I'm going to make my mom drive over there and if anyone is there, I am going to have her slap you.
Wish I could say I found the perfect spot today. Spent my day taking care of the domestic duties that have cropped up. Dad finally replaced our leaky bathroom faucet only to find the replacement was defective! Back to Home Depot....
Spent the time I did have this morning googling all about Pigs Eye Parrant. I doubt any of it will turn out to be relevant, but I sure learned a bunch of interesting tidbits.
Emily has been out of it the entire day. Her fever is down a bit, but she is definitely still really achy, and just sort of
<blah>. Sure hope I've done a good enough job keeping her quarantined!
Trying to drink some Sunkist now to get some energy. Has parking gotten any better at the park?
I'm still convinced it's at Crosby. I think in particular it's between Homer and Springfield and on the south side of the lakes. Still a big area, but narrowed down pretty well for Clue 8. Last night's clue still eludes me though. I was hoping to make it fit Rankin but I couldn't. It's hard to believe they would just give us yet another Crosby clue, especially such an obscure one after having already given us much easier ones. Unless they only wrote so many clues and decided to give us the easy ones earlier because of the snow.
It's at Crosby. Just going to take time to find it. Look how long it took people to find it in Conway with hundreds of people digging, and that was a flat field!

next clue will be about a marina.
OMG Mikey that's messed up!!!

I think the next clue will be about a crossroads.

Least that's how it looks to me.

Yes it is...but let's go there anyway.
Then let's go to Loring Park.
If enough of us go, we can completely trample both by clue time.
JOE!

That's natural, C. I was pretty much in a bad mood from 13 to 21. At least that's what my parents said.

Outta's Daughter
You better claim that joe MM!
Â
Gonna be a good clue with music I think
what's that stuff about "RONDO"??? I read something today where it fit "famous for a year"....don't recall....
CG Ravine's in Washington County
All vehicles must display a valid Washington County Parks vehicle permit

Bad tempers are usually inherited. At least that's been my experience. You just have to learn how to count to 10 and bite your tongue.

Really? A music clue? That would be WAY cooler!
Give us something to noodle over.
Maybe the medallion finder gets to go to the Grammy Awards...
Outta's Daughter
Will I need a DVD player for this next musical clue??Â
lol
Outta's Daughter
She's not in a bad mood, she's just got a lot of responsibility. That makes one appear moody. Wait until she's 61. Then she'll be fun again. :)
lol OT I can't imagine U being NOT fun... :) You're ALWAYS fun to me!!
Outta's Daughter
Aah, kids are in bed, and I'm finally free to noodle.
hopefully tonight's clue will be worth it. Slim will be calling me with it, so I'll post it as soon as I get it.
You are a sicko Evil- This is a FAMILY event.

HHmmmm. The year they tore it down and built I94? Where did you see references to Rondo?
Outta's Daughter
It gets like this in the hours before the new clue, Coldtoes. Just ignore them. I do. ;)

Don't let her kid you, C. What she means is that she wants to find it. hehe And then she won't be so crabby. ;)
