The cluewriter must not watch the squirrels in his/her backyard trying any tricks they can think of to get food. Or seen those huge ravens pick up a big piece of bread and fly away with it. Or seen racoons dig up a donut and run away with it!
Terry - I'm trying to think of some type of glitch, but nothing comes to mind that would make such a distinct blue glow. The medallion is as good of a chance as any as to what it really is.
The food stuffs were always wrapped. The almond bark in plastic wrap. The oreo cookie in a bag and at Langford, it seems to me it was put back in the original wrapper, but I don't remember now off hand.

Maybe a tear in the space-time continum. I'm just spit-balling here.
I need directions to the crossroads, the once blue pond, and the fallen tree... I know I'm sounding like a mooch, but hey, what the heck. I'm lost - darn it!!!Â
Follow the trail from the top of the turn around in the parking lot past the pavilion. Not sure which way to go once you hit the fork in the path though. I've not been down that path. But that's a start.
You know, we sit and noodle these clues to death, but in reality, if you get lucky enough to be at the right place at the right time, it's yours...unless you put it back.
not sure if i'll do the mad dash. i did it at como, but last year it was just too much for me. beyond that, i might just park my booty in the fire next to KT. i'm sure someone will call us with the clues. :o) then again, the morning after hunt always seems appealing. maybe just wait till 4am and hit the road. you know?
tonite's clue should be good! hope it holds out till i can hunt tomorrow.
ps- on the topic of invitation only threads, i'm always the last to know! sad to not be invited, but happy to still be here.

I was out there tonight and you could make last night's clue fit either fork. Right at the start of the left fork, there is the remainder of a tree (very big stump rather) about 10' high. On the right fork about a 100 yards down there is a big downed tree that looks as if it fell over the path and had to be buzzsawed.
Funny thanks alot!
working nights kinda sucks....
FYI: I believe it had been hidden in a food item three other times.

Is anyone in here to post the clue? I don't see any of the usual suspects in the list.
This one Terry?

Someone will post it.
lilslim's callin me w/the clue, I'm callin payme because she's got HSI and can get posted A LOT faster than I am. LOL It's a total team effort here.
That would be the one.
Ok, thanks MM.
** than I can.. OMG lol U can tell I'm tired..
It's very possible
Three times in food products...
Once as the filling of an oreo cookie - Phalen - but it was wrapped.
Once in a white castle box - is that considered food? - Kellogg
I can't remember the 3rd time.
Hubby just called me from the ice sculptures. He says they still look good!
Remember at this exact time of the hunt when we all thought it was Harriet Island? It was the night of the big Como bomb...Clue 10.
oh yeah i remember that one. big time.
The almond bark at Tony Schmidt?
I heard lilslim is at the park???
Med2K - What else would cause a glint like that except a aqua colored translucent something sticking out of the snow?Â
That's right! The almond bark. That was the year we darn near froze to death. NEVER will you see me out hunting in that kind of weather again.
So folks..please tell me why these clues could not lead us to Como as well as Crosby? I am very torn between the two parks.
If you noodle them enough, and given recent history, they could lead you to several parks.
Jep pay me.. slim's at the park

Â
Yeah...that was Langford!
Wasnt it in a hostess snowball one year?
Yep.
However, Downtown Dave was saying that each of those three times it was also inside something else. I don't remember what though.
I think with almost any hunt you could find a way to make Como fit.Â

I think that's one of the best parts of the movie, the look on the Camo Crue's face when they figure that out, priceless
I wonder which folk singer tonight.
COMO bad, Crosby good. AARH!
lol ya follow the yellow brick road.. or the white, bumpy, slippery one at that.
I have 4 wheel drive...I make my own parking spots :D
Como bad, Crosby bad

Haha, that's great TV, at least you've got a sense of humor about it

NOT to mention, i like crosby. it's so close to my house i'm probably in it here from bed!
Med2K - I try. It still has that kicked in the belly feeling.
And I HATE earmuffs.
