Kitch - So does it mean that someone is a Medallionator when they walk into Bugg's buy all present Medallionators a beer of their choice ??? haha! gotcha?Â
I heard my main man on the Joe show today. I smiled the whole time, thinking that it was perfect for him to finish his business with Soucheray and call it a year. My guess is that Jake will become a regular on Garage Logic.
TURNS OUT THE OWNER OF GREAT WATERS" WIFE WORKS FOR SAME COMPANY CLUEMASTER DOES AND HOLDS THE SAME POSITION AS BRAD _ did we already know this or is it a cool coincidence that we can MILK next year??
Hey RR: E-gram me her name and building if you remember. Did she say she knew of me?
I haven't had a chance to slog at all during the hunt and still have 3424 messages that are newin the two hunt threads alone. But I just have to say that this hunt is ranked far and above any other hunt I've done in my 25+ years of hunting seriously. It sounds like there have been some sappy posts back a bit so I won't go in that direction until I read them, but it seemed like it was a real good hunt for everyone. Clues, weather, friends etc. It's all good. Thanks to everyone that I've hunted with and those who I had a chance to share a bump with too. I also want to thank all the spouses out there that allow us idiots to do this for 12 days out of the year. They're the best.
In fairness though, I think that the Invitational has a lot more idle chatter, and that the number of noodling posts would be much closer and pretty much the same noodling. Personally, I've never seen anything in their that I haven't seen in the other thread or over at the PP Board. But as someone said, the good stuff is sent to people in an egram anyway.
Funny, but there aren't a ton of people from the cooler who do go down there. Especially on the first few nights (and I've heard all of the excuses of people "saving" themselves, etc. -- it's why I think there should be a reward for those who do get the clues).
as far as i know, there are several folks from the cooler who are down at the press faithfully every night.
I was sooo hoping it would go to clue 12, cuz I was gonna have my mom's cam corder and get it all on tape :( aww well... always next year I guess. Maybe she'll let me bring it to the RHB :D
ya know, i've got to say that throughout this whole thing with zephy, with all the knighting ceremonies and whatnot, of all the groups we've interacted with, the vulcans were far and away the coolest bunch of guys we could ever have hoped to come across. They were the first to actually give a firm yes that Zephy could be knighted, and then that he could ride with them in the parade (on the condition that he wear red instead of green, of course. Thanks to scribe for letting him borrow her vulcan coat for the evening). They firmed up details of when and where we need to be for the staging with us today. Vulcanus Rex even offered to give me his phone number. We think it'd be a great idea to make up certificates of appreciation for all of them for going well above and beyond to help make this a success.

if that ever happens, the place to be is notma press. well, maybe it is to get the line, but the better shots would be taken overlooking the roads out of downtown to the park. i wish i could have gotten in a helicopter at cono for some footage of the caravan of cars out 6th st. to 94 and then up lexington.
I think the PP should just point the Medallion's location out to me next year so I can get em a map that's acurate. Hmm before it's been officially found would be great...
ha...

I think we should have a gathering. I think the first one should be at THX's shed.
Kitch - btw ... thank you, that was the ULTIMATE way to introduce yourself to me!
I could use the target practice.
oh ...I've owed a few of ya beers.....
Finally, I can rest.

Go to bed, Steve.

I recall being booted off this forum early on during the hunt for some egrams that were sent to me ... there were quite tasty.

Well crap, the PP's map sucks then, guess I shoulda listened to my own instincts. Ah well, hopefully we can pinpoint the location at the rehash.

coco, just go to the url in my tagline and you can email them to me directly from that webform.
The finders seemed like real nice people. I think it's great that a family ended up taking home the prize.Â
Huh?!Â
