People just need to understand that the embroidery thing costs. But it's quality.
Those hats we had made were 20 bucks even. That included the hat. For the most part they will do anything you want. Once we have a pattern it costs a seperate price to get it made into a stich pattern. BUt once we have it made it's good to go.
The problem with a logo is that it needs to change slowly to keep the recognizable part of it. You know, kind of evolve over time. Drastically changing it at once is not a good thing IMO. I went with this one on the banner.
I feel VERY strongly that we need one logo (or two with a smaller crest-like thing) and that we should vote on 3 or 4 and try to get as many people to participate in the vote as possible. Lots of varied logos is going to make us look unorganized and not uniform.

ALSO. i'm a graphic designer, so if we need a logo made up, let me know. i've ordered banners and stuff. i work in photoshop, illustrator, quark. i know some other people (OTiS) work in photoshop and stuff too tho. just thought i'd offer.
And, the other issue is that we have a number of graphic designers on this site. Perhaps they each should submit one. Personally, I am willing to go with ESD's new one, but I want to make sure everyone has the chance to participate.

I know Kcorgn, Big G, Nick, ESD all have good skills....heck even OTS could with time....hahahaha...sorry if I left somebody out...but geez...we got tons of people that can do this....

Mr. Mikey. Does the banner have a colored background so that the snow shows up as snow and doesn't just become part of the background?  I like that logo also.
I know what you guys are up too...   You want to dress up, so the chicks are too buzy looking atchas and not looking for the medallion. Clever! I'm still hooked on the tights idea. Whether it's with a fireman's hat or an eye patch, I really don't care. HEHE.

Well the deadline could be the end of Feb...gives them time to prepare and make them perfect. We will start voting on March 1st and because a lot of people have scidattled out of here give until the end of march for voting. This way the most amount of people can vote. Submit a small crest and or a regular logo. We will vote on both?
I agree, the original should be one of the choices. I do think we should vote on both (even though I love ESD's). Maybe two different people will "win". I also think we should set up a separate thread for voting so people don't have to slog. And, if possible, we should email all INvitational members so they know about the vote.

that's why you need a GREAT logo like a crest and the "normal" larger logo....
the set-up cost is not something you want to change......

I think we all like the New longer one with the snow...that one is fine....
but....
for a crest logo....how about a little contest....

We should also leave the original logo up to be voted on as well. So even those who choose not to have a change made have that say so.

what's the deadline? and what are we looking for? and i missed this new logo that isn't the snow covered one.
do we have dimensions? maybe 2"x2" (12p x 12p).. Four color? what format? EPS? I think an Illustrator EPS would be most verstile.

The crest could really be anything - CC, the water barrels, shovels, whatever - it would be up to the creativity of the person.
Orion, I don't know about format and size - ESD or G could probably answer that question better than me.
The crest would be best used where the large Cooler Crew logo wouldnt fit.Â
