That MOA Santa, starting about October, goes around to all the MOA restaurants to see if he can trade appearances for free food and drinks.

Wierd, wierd thing to serve Santa a whiskey 7.

It was nice getting there early. We were able to enjoy the rest of the day without dreading the wait lol.

We got there about 45 minutes before it opened. Then waited only about 20 minutes. He is the best Santa I have ever seen!! Spends such a good amount of time with the kids. Thomas was even able to tell him he wanted 5 whoopie cushions....i wonder who's kid he is?

My niece and nephew had their picture done with the MOA Santa. My sister-in-law said he really is the best. It's funny she took them there cuz she thought I told her about him.

I hope they pay him well. What a great retirement gig - work one month out of the year.

When the article about the Natural Santa was in the Strib, it said they made about $10,000 for 5-6 weeks' work.

exceptional work kc! thank you

Very nice pics of all the kids--- notice the breakfast boxes- all nice and neat in the morning...alll messy at night. hahaha

I thought maybe all of you were going in the morning to see santa - I almost went out there last night ... then got asked to a WILD game! so going tomorrow instead.

WiLD won!

tried to see if I could see Timmers but not sure- I thought he was in 218 -if so than I saw him- otherwise I am pretty sure I saw DAD Cornish twice on the bigscreen. We had 104 row 21 center ice. funtime.

Nice avatar me2 or should I say bro?

actually what's better is viewing it in google earth, you can play through all the previous year hides (in order) and it'll jump back and forth across the map zooming in on each. Kinda hypnotic....

'mom'

Hiya Me2 -- Nope, wasn't Dad -- as much as he probably wishes it were . It's been such a long time since we've been to a Wild game!

Man, that MOA Santa is something else!! Maybe I can con Dad into taking the kids out there today -- he is off of work and home with the girls. You wouldn't think it would be TOO busy, being a Monday....

I'd jump at the chance at a weekday Santa visit. I hope the girls get a chance to see the guy MoM.

So did he come early or did you wait a total of 65 minutes?
Mon, 12/19/2005 - 4:15 AM Permalink

total wait 65 minutes.

Those in line when we left were at an expected wait of 4 hours.

Molly stood in line...

while I took the girls on the rides....

the best part is I get to ride for free

little rollercoaster

little race cars (these I even enjoy)

little train

little air ballon ride

merry go round (sucks I gotta stand)

I don't have to go on the frog hopper (I wanna go next time)

little semitrucks...fun to honk the horn.

and the "short bus" (makes me sick...what am I going to do when they are teenagers?)

Clue Master

We had the best operator for the eagle ride. He made all of us laugh while we were swinging back and forth then he gave us a second ride for free. We also went on those small capsules that spin around and make you feel like you're flying. $6 each but it was pretty cool. And it supported me. Unlike the swings. I couldn't believe that they're only rated to 230lbs. :frown:

I don't care what you say....the little nascar ride is the coolest...
Mon, 12/19/2005 - 6:36 AM Permalink
Clue Master

We like Spongebob
Mon, 12/19/2005 - 6:38 AM Permalink
Pay Me

that nascar is a lot of fun.

The bus makes me sick too. I hate it. And without fail everytime the boys go on it I get voted into that seat.....

Joey is still too small to ride all the rides by himself.

Bus made my daughter sick too! I thought she was just a wimp. :lipsealed: :goofy:
Mon, 12/19/2005 - 6:50 AM Permalink
KITCH

I thought it was because of a jack/coke.

but now I'm wondering if its a grown up thing.....it is a tame ride...but the spin is a little goofy....
