I suppose I do. We've been doing this for over 25 years and have been close to it most times. It's really luck that you dig in exactly the right place.
I just returned from Cherokee Park, There are about 100-150 people there, with many coming and going. Three square buildings in a row, all with pyramid shaped roofs seem to fit the latest clue perfectly. The NSP smoke stack is plainly visible, no plume of smoke today though. Winona is just one of the "city streets" that lead to the park. There is a play ground and a large rock sure looks like a large object to me. If you want an area with scenery and are looking for high ground, I'd head to Cherokee. The city did tree trimming there the other day, and the warm weather yesterday didn't help much. Digging is a lot of work, make sure you take metal shovels or rakes if you go. Best luck to all.
Everyone it is so obvious that the medallion at Ivy. Everyone is there enyway. Dr. Livingston - Alan and Jill - C. Fox and Marty. I guess they all met at Cherekee, couldnt find it, so they all went to Ivy and have a pretty good Idea where it is. Its at Ivy PEOPLE!
Half of Ivy park is in Mendota Heights and the other is in St. Paul. Get it - thats the double division. You must be a rock head not to figure that one out.
Good Luck to those that were looking with me last night. I'm feeling under the weather...too much digging...I'll be back out in no time though....Kurk, you going to be a third time winner?
ivy - Okay I see the division of Ivy Park being half in MH and half in St. Paul. But the clue says LINE of double division. Is there actually something that can be considered a line - say as in a street or something? Annapolis is the Line of double division at cherokee.
Last night I took some advice from one of the other post buddies on the computer and they said that there were News Stations down at Ivy Park. So I went there and they were right. There were 3 different News Stations there covering the medallion story. Its there I know it.
The park lines were redrawn this year and your map is probebly outdated. This was a big issue for the Mendota Hgts. and St. Paul area. It caused a ruckus.
I've been over a few spots at Cherokee more than once. Everything points me to a certain spot. The snow this year is going to make this difficult. I think you're going to have to be standing on it, twist your ankle, and wonder what the heck you just stepped on that hurt so bad, sit down, take your boot off, have lunch, pick up the lunch wrappers, and wonder what that extra 'dole' can is in your garbage. Then, you might find it...
One of these days I'm going to go crazy. I was just looking at #901 which has a list of where and in what the medalions have been hidden since 52'. Who was the guineus who decided to cement it into a closet bracket in 73'?

I think the city streets from one of the previous clues could be Wyoming & Winona both cities in Minn.

Hey- Are the EastSide Boys still digging at Beaver Lake? What would your explanation of the 3 pyramids be there? Just curious.
We're headed out to Cherokee in a bit. See you out there!
hi
anyone have idea what medallion is in this year?
Ok my brother signed off now its my turn to play with this spacestation. So whats up Where is this thing at anyone Know?

Where is Ivy?
About 5 - 6 blocks from Cherekee. Everyone knows Ivy. Everyone knows that it splits too.
I cant find Ivy in my Hudson's map book. Is it fairly small?
My guess is it is near cherokee????
pete, where is ivy?
Good Luck to those that were looking with me last night. I'm feeling under the weather...too much digging...I'll be back out in no time though....Kurk, you going to be a third time winner?
Yes - its very small and yes it is right by Cherekee.
What streets intersect Ivy and what fits as far as kids playing
or sledding...does anyone know?

What are the 3 pyrmaids at IVY?
Two Sisters there is a perfect bike path.
Now that I found Ivy in my hudson book, it looks as if Ivy is
completely in Mendota Heights. The city border lines dont
even get close to including Ivy. Cherokee is on the limits
itself!
"It is there, I know"
So what the heck are you doing HERE?
The three pyrmids are: The three pyrmid structures on the playground area. The playset says or made by Rosebud playground surfacing company.
Hello? Ivy? Any response to the 3 Pyramids?
I wish I wasnt here this year, but this is as close to the st paul
winter carnival I will get this year...I am stuck in madison at
school!
Ivy, We are almost convinced Ivy may be the place. If only we could see it on the map.
The park lines were redrawn this year and your map is probebly outdated. This was a big issue for the Mendota Hgts. and St. Paul area. It caused a ruckus.
You gotta be kidding! It actually says "Rosebud" playground surfacing
equipment on it! Damn! You know its at Ivy then.
What's the 'lode' at Ivy?
At Ivy there is water(pond, creek), woods, warming house in the shape of a dome. For inmeasureable there is a rain gauge. Its at Ivy.
hehe, I would ask the same thing. Although I was @ Cherokee till 3 a.m. moving snow from one pile to the next, I can't even lift a shovel today! :)
Good Luck!
Airbourn - there use to be a great mineral deposit in the park, but its used up.
Is Ivy pretty dug up? Or do people even have a clue yet about the
division and the secretness of the park?
Ivy? You must be kidding.

I used to live on Cherokee, just south of Annapolis. I cannot picture a place in Ivy that's actually in Ramsey county.
If only I could be so lucky...I think I would sacrafice my ankle
so I can retire from this damn hunt. I am sure there are many folks that
feel the same. Just a side note to us diehards...here in madison
they have a treasure hunt too...but it has no attention or
outpouring of participation as our dear medallion does. It's much
like a copycat but not as creative!
Where is Ivy I can't find it on my map either! :(
You know, if I could just find this thing, I might actually get some sleep, and make it to work on time...
Where did you say Ivy was anyway?
Thats what is sooo creative about this hunt...we cant even find it
on a map...earlier someone told me the lines were just redrawn so
the cities now share the park (mendota and st paul) I am guessing the
park boardering sylvandale rd and park drive is where Ivy is????
THE RULES SAY IT MUST BE IN RAMSEY COUNTY.
WHERE IS IVY!!!!!!!!!!!!
One of these days I'm going to go crazy. I was just looking at #901 which has a list of where and in what the medalions have been hidden since 52'. Who was the guineus who decided to cement it into a closet bracket in 73'?
