Recent Clues:

Clue #1 Congrats to the finder, to all a reminder
To hunt hard from first to last clues
Medallion I is history. Now a new mystery
Begins -- strap on your hunting shoes

To some its demented, for all unprecedented
But hunters’ thirst must be quenched
Tell sister and brother we’ve hidden another
In a park where a body can be benched

Our 2nd prize? Don’t laugh -- 10-thou cut in half
So get out there even if it’s snowy
And as a special bonus -- some might say an onus --
A meal with our own Clueless Joey

Good hunting to you, let this be the first clue
Think of a woodsy retreat
It won’t be so hard if you channel the bard
You’ll get warm and smell pretty sweet
Clue #2 If you\'re thinking big you\'re sure to dig
Near flora with growing pain
Winter or summer is never a bummer
A menagerie of fun wild or tame
Clue #3 Success on the third clue will never do
We had to stash a second
Round you go if you seek to know
Where swatters of orbs are beckoned
Clue #4: A walk in the park can be a lark
If cell phones are left at home
Heed the siren of your desirin\'
And do not revolt against this poem
Clue #5 Over hill and dale hit the trail
With a handy locating device
Fulfill your wishes like loaves and fishes
And put your victory on ice
Clue #6 A famous singer and a diamond dinger
Might put you oh so close to the spot
With the whites of your eyes you should look for the prize
Within this convenient plot
Clue #7 Don\'t turn up your noses at the city of roses
The home of the park that you seek
It\'s just north of town so come on down
Our hunt is not for the meek
Clue #8 Don\'t go mental just head for Central
Lexington Avenue will show you the way
Your spirits won\'t sag when you see the big flag
Into the trees you want to stray

A dinger is the clapper for a bell, right?

Or could there be a dinger related to baseball?

Here we are - all over the county.

Pick your singer and dinger and if you're right, you're in the park. If not, you're in the wrong park.

I'm going to go sleep on this.

Goodnight and SCDs everyone!

Did anyone call the hotline? I'm not sure if it'd be on there or not but I've lost my cell and am unable to call myself. If it's true, what a BUMMER!!! And, they had luck and should buy a lottery ticket:)

Does anyone else feel like we're missing the "big picture"? It'd be unprecedented to have so many streets named and not much else to go on at this point. Does anyone else feel the same way?

FYI - Frank runs into IM (Sinatra)

Rose also runs into the south end of Lake Como.

Why the heck would they give us all the streets around Central last night and some more tonight?

I don't know anymore. I'm thinking not Central.

Also, the hard copy of the paper again ran the map that shows what is out of bounds in St. Paul (Como Zoo, golf courses, etc.). The map only shows St. Paul. If it were to be hidden in the county, why wouldn't they show out of bounds places like Keller golf course?

Leelabell,

Good point! I think this is one of the most frustrating hunts of recent's years. I just wish this had been the original hunt! It's worth the $10,000!!! I think we're all missing some "key" clue. It has to be in there somewhere. Perhaps, I'm just so deadset on it not being in Como that I'm not seeing the real picture.

The PP does not know where the puck is hidden remember. Only the CW and maybe Mr. Knight knows. If they announce at the editors meeting at the PP which is open to the public, they will not say where it his hidden. Its been since the 50's off the top of my head that it was hidden out of St. Paul. The rules says Ramsey county and I don't think the PP will want to dedicate a whole page for ramsey county.

not sure if this is stretching too far, but the original "whites of their eyes" quote is generally attributed to the Battle of Bunker Hill in the Revolutionary war, same war as Lexington- you should have Lexington in your sight.
